Agree this is needed.

Projects & new invoicing features needs to allow the task account code, tax code & cost center to populate automatically like it was before.
This now means that we have to manually input these items whereas they were there before prepopulated when you created the draft invoice from the projects tasks & expenses. Hours more time is going to be spent doing these invoices now & increases the human error factor when this is all supposed to be making things more automated & streamlined. If something was working before & does not now, to get an answer from Xero support to simply say:

I have investigated this further, in new invoicing invoices created from a project will not populate the account codes and tax rate, for now these will need to be added manually.

Also the formatting is tiny as if it is compacted now, but that was not addressed by support on the screen share call.
This really is disappointing to go backwards.

I agree with this, we use projects all the time and bulk assigning credit note lines would be such a time saver. I also agree with the comment of assigning journal entries to Projects.

Currently, each separate line in a sales credit note has to be separately assigned to a Project. There should be tickyboxes so that the lines can be assigned en masse, as there is for bills.

Really needs to be added.

Much like how bills currently have the function to select all the lines that the project relates to or assign to all.

At the moment with invoices, this has to be done manually, which can fill up the screen if there are multiple lines and needing to zoom out of the web browser to fit them all into the screen.

This shouldn't be difficult to achieve, and presents many benefits

Agreed, this is a very time consuming issue for us allocating each line item to the same project. Seems it would be a simple fix to implement and save us all a lot of time.

Can there be a way to add every line of an invoice to the same project? My client has lots of many-line invoices and it is a laborious task for each line of an invoice to be allocated to a project, an account and then click assign and ok so that is 4 buttons for each line.
It's a big waste of time and is causing frustration.

This is desperately needed, so much time is wasted without this simple functionality.

Please introduce a 'select all' asap!

Please add! 99.9% of the time, we only assign one project to the invoice and don't need to add it line by line.

A apply one project to invoice button would be fantastic!

With Invoices, can you add a button to Allocate all lines to a Job and subsequently project, ie; I have a recent project and when invoicing the customer there were 65 lines to the invoice - broken down into each individual line that makes up the contract sum. This is very time consuming to go in allocate each line to a Project and when the invoice contains this many lines you have to Zoom the screen down to about 10% which is not readable anyway. One button that would allow you to allocate all lines to the one project would be fantastic. This would also be an awesome feature for Bills as at the moment we are running 20 - 25 projects and when I have to allocate goods purchased it is quite time consuming allocating to each job. Another thought, could the job in Xero be linked to Projects so that everything allocated to the Tracking Category also allocates to the job in Projects. Would save so much time :-) Thanks Rachel
