  1. Invoice templates should not be in the "settings" but in the actual part where the invoices are, this is product development 101 stuff guys seriously...

    Adding/altering/deleting invoice templates should be accessible right from within the sales overview and invoice section. I shouldn't have to google for this stuff, it's really quite terrible.

  2. It would be great if you could add a "New Item" when you first create a transaction. At the moment, you have to save and close the transaction, go back to it and "edit" then you can see +New Item at the top of the Item column. It would be a great improvement to workflow if you could do this straight away and if anyone like me has new items each week it would save some time. Thanks.

  3. Automatically opens a new window when preparing Draft invoice from Projects Screen. This means the project screen stays open to do your next invoice rather than having to navigate back after you have approved your invoice.

    Hi team, just having a little play in Projects - while it won't work for Deposit or Project Amount creation, if you're creating an invoice from a Project for Tasks & Expenses you'll be able to hold down 'ctrl' while clicking on this option and should find this opens the Tasks and expenses screen in a separate browser tab. 

    Totally get this doesn't resolve the idea here, but wanted to share for those it helps 🙂

  4. When creating purchase orders, having a large list of products, we are finding it difficult to identify the items we want to select because only the item codes show without the item descriptions. (Both the item code and descriptions show when creating invoices and quotes). Would it be possible for the drop-down selections in the purchase orders to show both the item codes and the descriptions?

  5. Change the wording "add receipt" on the Xero app.

    Many clients use the Xero app and they go to add a new bill but they see the words add a receipt so they automatically think this is a bill so add here. It then creates payment files which I have to manually undo. Can the wording be changed to "add bill/ receipt" and "add receipt of payment" or something similar.

  9. Currently the PO numbering is editable by the user. Can we disable / lock the PO number field be editable by the user? As we have encountered a control issue that user edited the PO number and the PO number that have changed has gone missing from our PO list. Thus, we need this enhancement critically so that we can have a complete PO listiing.

  11. Procuret is an essential B2B platform for customers to pay invoices in instalments. Integration with Procuret in Xero is possible but clunky and not end-user (our customers) friendly. Please add Procuret as a Payment Service in Xero, like other vendors, GoCardless, Paystation etc. This should not be an instead of option, but an as well option.

  13. I always have my Xero dashboard open. I use it as my navigation starting point when using Xero. The Xero dashboard would be much more usable if 3rd party integrations were possible and developed. I personally would find it amazing if you would develop a widget to integrate FuseSign into the Xero dashboard. This would save significant time and make Xero even more integral to my business. As an accounting practice I utilise this service and a widget that listed outstanding signing packages, alerts for due dates and completed packages would be wonderful. Please consider such an integration!

    Would be good to se others support and understanding of the specific apps and elements that would be most useful from this view. 

  14. Bills to Pay export report that contains Overpayments does not currently agree to Aged Payables report. The Overpayments are displayed as a positive value instead of a negative value. This means that the Bills to Pay export report is overstated. Please correct this.

    Trying to better understand your idea here, Niamh - When you say Bills to pay export, would this be when exporting a list of Bills from the Bills to pay screen? 

    Overpayments for bills would be treated as credit available to be applied to a bill - Unlike Prepayments which would be treated as a debit that would be applied at a future date to a bill that has yet to be created.

    When you say 'Quotes folders' - could you provide a little more detail on where and what you mean by this in Xero, Kim? 

    Would this be when viewing folders in the Files library that may have been set u for your Quotes? or something a bit different? Thanks 

  16. Process invoices in bulk for one transaction and one set of charges on a certain day of the month. At the moment it is only possible to take a single invoice on DD i.e. each one individually. This incurs costs from providers such as GoCardless. Setting all invoices with the same due date will not work as they will all be taken as individual transactions. It would be great to be able to wrap they up to take them all in one on a certain day of the month.

  17. One of my clients has suggested that it would be useful to be able to see the contents of the purchase orders on Xero without having to open them to find items ordered. In the same way that a salary is hidden but pops up when a mouse is hovered over on the payroll employee tab, the information on a PO could pop up.

    Opening them all is very time consuming.

  18. Online Quote - Expect the quote be view directly even is a custom branding theme.

    Purpose: The reason we said "online quote", means no matter what the customer can view online. But now it's limited due to the organisation create their own theme which is not fair.

When a business has multiple branches or divisions, it would be great for the system to recognise who (from which division or branch) is entering the Bill or Invoice or Journal, and would automatically assign the correct cost centre to the transaction based on that (with the ability to override allowed or not in the user setup). It would also be good to be able to only allow reconciliation/viewing of that branch or division bank account instead of all bank accounts.

  20. Invoices page, Please add a "Customer Dropdown Box" so we can just scroll and select a client from the list when looking for a clients older invoices.
    The current search box is outdated.
