  1. In due date fields (and why not other fields), allow Excel formulae with invoice fields as variables into the formula to drive the default value. The existing constant value is a valid excel formula so would be backward compatible.

  2. Currently the "Total Cash In and Out graph" on dashboard shows the total cash received and the total cash spent through all of the bank accounts in Xero. This graph excludes transfers between bank accounts as don't they affect the overall total.

    It would be nice to be able to customize that graph to exclude certain transactions. Ie. if a shareholder loan is made, this would show up as cash in.

  3. It would be really great if we could add a description to a Batch Deposit, instead of it coming up automatically as "Payment: multiple items"
    I know we can add a reference but being able to put your own description would also be great too.

  4. I need the ability to be able to print an expense report to provide to a client that includes all of the supporting documentation. All of the receipts are captured via Xero Expenses app but I can't print a report that includes them. To provide that information to my client...I had to screen shot every receipt and them insert them into a Word document. This isn't a workable solution. Please add this report.

  5. Currently the Account Transactions Report calculates Debits minus Credits which means a positive Running Balance shows in brackets and a negative Running Balance shows without brackets. This is totally contradictory to the usual accepted Accounting Rules. Can this be changed so that the Running Balance is calculated as CREDITS MINUS DEBITS please ?

  6. The bank transaction listing in Xero should have different details displayed for ease of reference.
    Batch Payment really doesn't provide enough information. "Payment: multiple items Batch Payment" is pretty vague. It would be better if the Description column showed the Details from the batch payment - refer attached

  10. Simple Find button as used in Quickbooks Desktop. This facility was used on a daily basis by our construction company to find anything that came on an invoice, all you needed was to type in one word and it would seek it out in seconds. I do not understand why Xero are not capable of implementing this. I have been told by Xero that the more people that support an idea the more likely it is that they will do it. Please support this.

  11. When you create an invoice the payment terms default to what is set for each customer (ie. 45 days from end of month, 60 days etc) however if you then change the issue date of the invoice, it defaults back to 30 days for every client regardless of their terms. We are looking for it to caclulate to each clients correct terms whenever the invoice date is changed

  12. I've accidentally created a Small Business Depreciation Pool in the Fixed Asset section of a client.

    As far as I can tell there is no way to permanently remove or delete this, and it just hangs around forever?

  14. Please provide a report by Customer for Profit and Loss and allow us to upload a budget for each customer so we can include the forecast in XERO. QBO has much better and flexible reporting than XERO. Please see attached QBO Report of P&L by Customer. Please mimic this report in XERO.

  15. I need the option to auto reverse repeating journals to be available. This is neccessary for accruals.
    Auto reverse is available on regular journals but not repeating.

  18. When reviewing a VAT return documents, the ability to see the invoice without having to go in to bills to pay to find the invoice and review it was great. How about adding a next and previous button to the top of the screen when you left click on an invoice within the VAT return?

    At the moment we have to click the x in the top right corner and then left click on the next invoice to review. when review large VAT return with many transactions you can get lost and end up clicking in to an invoice you…

  19. Can we have the option to toggle or remove the contact name from the description column (ie in Account Transactions) so it is not duplicated and the description contains only the description now that we have the option to add Contact as a separate column which is a great new feature?

  20. Custom reports- why there such a large gap of blank wasted space between the account names and the first column!! We create month x month reports ie 12 months of columns wide, so it is very frustrating when you create a PDF with all those columns on it and there is that great wasted space before the first column!!!
