  2. Provide functionality in Xero to add attachments to a group invoice.

    Annually when we issue membership
    subscriptions there are a number of attachments that need to be included with the invoice, this is currently a manual process. Adding the sane attachments to over 80 invoices is time consuming and tedious.

    Given Xero has this functionality already, it should be expanded to include the functionality of adding attachments when creating an invoice o a contact group.

  4. Xero should auto import all the transactions from the bank feeds even if it appears to be double entries of the same transaction. For example Toll fees with the same amount on the same day are only imported once into xero although all the transactions are on the bank's online profile.

  5. Draft sales invoice. I would be helpful that when entering a sales invoice for a customer if Xero could advise/warn you that there is already a "Draft" invoice in the system.
    I add to draft invoices each week, and sometimes a draft that is already in existence gets missed.

  6. Both Xero and XPM really need to have the ability to override the GST calculated by 1c either way to fix the GST rounding errors that continually occur. This would be more efficient than having to add a Cost rounding adjustment in XPM of 1c to have it then import to Xero showing this rounding adjustment on a separate line which then needs to be altered before sending to the clients. Having to do this for hundreds of invoices is very inefficient.

  7. The Discuss Tab should have a history trail showing the user and date that a comment was submitted.

    Also registered comments should not be editable or removed once submitted. The ideal situation would be if the tab took on the functionality of a chat system also allowing to tag a user of that particular company in a discussion prompting a notification to the user.

    Once a transaction is processed, the notes should be attached to the transaction in the history and notes section for future reference.

  8. Gross to Net report - include an function/option where it is possible to only run it for current employees without having to manually select each person.
    We typically run it each calendar month and while we are still a smallish team there is a risk that someone will be excluded/included that should not be when manually selecting the names and will not be sustainable as our business grows.

  10. Have a ribbon/menu across the top of the screen with the ability to pin a “button” that links to your most frequently used windows - eg bills to pay drafts window , or the reconcile window of the most used bank feed, or a report you run daily

  12. Please add unit and rate columns in this report.

    I know the second option is Payroll Activity Details report. However, when I download this report in excel, the Pay item type is under the employee column i.e not separated.

  14. When editing an assigned expense in the project module, there are four options for 'What you'll charge': % markup, pass cost on, custom price and non-chargeable.

    I think there should be a fifth option.

    In the instance where the expense is to be tracked to an estimated expense (ie field 2 is completed), there should be the possibility of linking to the 'What you'll charge' amount that is already prepopulated into the associated estimated expense.

    This would save a lot of time repeating steps.

  15. Archive bank transactions so you can only see for example, from the start of that financial year or the start of the year you are in. Currently we can see all transactions from when we started to use XERO in 2021.

  17. Is there the ability to make the cashflow report into an accrual report also so we have one report that can show p&l and capital expenditure with an area for adjusted accounts payable/receivable still outstanding and then projecting the bank balance.

    Currently we use a 12-month P&L and then have to do a separate balance sheet and it doesn't quite hit the mark.

Simply the ability to create Recurring Purchase Orders (similar to the recurring purchase invoice) to select from so that information is prefilled ready to go for suppliers that we regularly purchase the same items from. Or you can use this as a template and add to or from with any other items as required.

  19. Is there an option to show "Manual Bank Reconciliation Date" rather than Reconciled Date? The reconciled date is system generated and it does not mean much if the balances are out to start with. This would allow the user to know when bank rec was actually performed by a human.

    Hi Jo-Ann - when you say you'd like to view the date the bank account was manually reconciled would this be on the org's Dashboard?

    As a means of viewing this information at present - you could run the History & notes and view only Bank transaction items where you'll see the name of the user and date that the last transaction in the org was reconciled. 🙂

  20. It would be beneficial for an employee to record all hours worked in the timesheet including hours to be allocated as TOIL Accrual
    i.e. employee works 35 hours, 30 hours ordinary and 5 hours to TOIL accrual?
    Then when the employees wishes to take the TOIL, they submit a Leave Request as per existing functionality.

    Currently the employee needs to separately notify payroll regarding hours worked to be allocated to TOIL Accrual. And this doesn't go through the Supervisor Timesheet Approval process.
