  1. Location and time tracking, as it stands you can only enter start and finish time. Be good to have a login and logout to track worked hours in real time not just estimating. Location tracking through the timesheet would also help with when switching jobs.

  2. Would really like the option to have a second layer to approve leave. I am a HR Manager and find it hard when the manager approves leave verbally and I do not get notified until later. I would like to see the option for HR or Finance to get a notification or get the option to approve prior to the manager so we can manage the employee leave status.

  3. We need to be able to create a report that lists inventory item sales and includes the customer name AND other customer contact information such as email address or phone number.

    There have been occasions where I've needed to contact a large group of customers that have purchased a product from me due to a misprint in a book or an update to a title. At present, the only way I can do this is to export my inventory report and add the contacts manually. Xero Support Specialist - Daniel has confirmed this.

  5. Could you please enable the ability to create a custom “Packing Slip” as part of our custom “Branding Theme”? We’d like to be able to send our fully personalized packing slips without having to change the invoice “Branding Theme" back & forth.

  6. The ability to export the auto enrolment pension report and also to "hide" deep archived employees. I check this report mid month and send a list to HR as a sanity check for those employees not yet enrolled/non eligible but now have to scroll through "all" employees past and present to get the current information. Not very user friendly. Even an export option with some way of then filtering whether the employee is current would be useful.

  7. Set a bank rule that only autofills the contact name - Often the same contact is used for sales or purchases to different accounts. Currently bank rules force you to choose an account. I'd like to set the contact automatically with the bank rule, then choose the account during reconciliation. Saves me typing the contact each time.
    ALTERNATIVELY - I saw and voted for another idea that there could be a drop-down list of possible applicable rules, then I could write 2+ rules for the same contact and matching criteria, and choose the appropriate rule. This would be even faster,…

  11. Suggestion: enable the 'Columns' feature that is available in the customer activity list to more parts of Xero. I would like to be able to hide the 'Cost Price' column from Products & Services on the front-of-house system so it's not visible to customers when we are doing a price check.

  13. Hi, I was wondering if it is possible to include some non financial data in zero ledgers for reporting?
    For Example - I would like to include a 'No. of Transactions' for a period that would not be a financial number (so no balancing required) but, this number would be available to add to reports i.e creating a cost per transaction.
    We used to call these 'SKU's' and generally they would Non Financial KPI's like:- production days, FTE's, LTI's or Units produced.
    Any help would be great.

  14. Currently, you are able to pull the Contact Transactions Summary and ledger for only one contact at a time.

    If you can add the ability to pull more than one contact's transactions at a time, it would be great. It should work the same as "Account Transactions" where you choose the accounts you want to pull, just for Contacts.

    Hi Elizna, you can run the Receivable or Payable invoice detail reports for multiple contacts at a time. Is there something specific about the Contact Transactions Summary that's missing from these reports that you'd want included ? 

  15. On the notes section to the financial reports in adviser reports templated under the groups, I would like the accounts selected to be in alphabetical order. At the moment the only option is to manually drag and drop - with a large number of accounts this is extremely time consuming. An automated function would assist.

  16. It would be great if a column could be added to either the Aged Receivables Report or the Receivable Invoice Detail Report that shows the number of days the invoice is overdue by.

    The number of days an invoice is overdue by can be seen on the 'Awaiting Payment' tab in the invoice section in Xero, but even on this part the information cannot be exported.

  17. Add the option for multi currency to other subscription types.

    Currently the only way to use multi-currency is to upgrade to the Xero Established/Premium or Ultimate pricing plan. For a sole trader that doesn't need all the extra features of those plans, that is a minimum price increase of over double the starter plan.

    Is there a specific report or reports you'd like to do this with, Suveera. 

    Xero analytics is one way of getting more of a visual view of an organisations performance, or alternatively you'll find there are a couple of reports like the Income and Expense by Contact reports that enable you to show a chart of your top 10 customers or suppliers. 

  20. Description Field with the bank narration

    This happened as a couple of newer client and new to xero in the contact field wrote something incredibly different to the bank narration which makes it very difficult to review the general ledger information.

    For example in the General Account the transactions descriptions are all listed as "John Smith" when if the bank narration option was available I could see it is Officeworks, KFC, etc and this would make it easier to realise these are miscoded and reallocate.
