Could we get a report in leave transaction that enables us to see "leave without pay" taken.

Default Tracking Categories for General Ledger Accounts
Ability to allocate a default Tracking Category to a general ledger code.
Purpose: E.g. we have 3 divisions in our company and need to perform a profit and loss on each division. These accounts are populated by 3 3rd party apps (Woo Commerce, EasyCars, Workshop Mate) which makes it time consuming to go through each imported transaction and allocate a tracking category. If we allocated the migrated transactions to a unique account with a set default Tracking Category, we could perform the profit and loss by tracking category.

Fortnightly Pay Runs to have weekly split.

NZ GST - Styling PDF export
Ability to add report styling to the PDF export so you can show logo. Like you can do with other reports.

Nominate contacts for quotes or invoices
Nominate contacts to automatically populate for quotes or invoices. For many of our clients, quotes go to one email i.e. estimating@client and invoices go to another email i.e. invoices@client. Being able to nominate emails in the contact list for each client to automatically populate when sending quotes or invoices for that specific client would save having to manually type the same email address every time.

Leave transactions report
Leave transaction report - NZ. Could this be changed to select multiple employees & to change the format so that there is a column for employee as opposed to grouping by employee. This enables easier reconciling through Excel. The Australian Leave Transaction report is ideal - could NZ's be made the same or similar.

Phone app
Make all features available on phone app that are available on pc / laptops.
There’s various basic functions that cannot be done on the Xero app designed for phones. Many small business users who are on the road for work want to action expenses and invoices as they go and have the same functionality on their phone as the laptop. Features are currently missing e.g:
- adding a discount to an invoice
- adding a category
- deleting a quote

Project Module Improvement
…to assign expenses, including purchase invoices and expense claims, to specific tasks within projects rather than grouping them all together.
The purpose of this is to gain a better overview and to organize expenses based on individual tasks.
The Project module in Business Central 365 is built in a very efficient way, and some of its simple features could be applied in Xero to give users a better overview of hours and expenses within projects — including those spent, to be invoiced, and already invoiced.

Batch payment - default sorting
When doing a batch payment and get to the last screen, why does Xero not default to sorting by supplier name and inv/ref - at the moment it sorts randomly which is annoying and then you have to edit the batch to sort correctly so remittances and the batch PDFreport make more sense

Tracking Summary Report
Tracking Summary Report - existing (until 11 Nov 2025) report can be run by selecting specific account code. The new report (from 11 Nov 2025), can only be run by account types. We want to continue to run this report by account code. Please see the attachment for an example.

Please restore Tracking Categories to a high level and intuitive menu location. It used to be two clicks away in the Business menu but is now buried under Accounting>Accounting Settings>Accounting>Tracking Categories. We use this to create job codes on a regular basis. I had to ask Grok where it had gone as your Help section couldn't tell me.

Split screen for Batch Payment details
On the make payments page of batch payments allow for a split screen so you can review submitted invoices to either check bank account details or add bank account details of new contacts without having to jump between pages/screens.

Allow projects to import project time from jibble
Time submission within xero projects is not well suited to our business. We use Jibble projects which is more feature rich for our needs. It would be great if this could be imported to xero. This would also require xero clients to be shared with Jibble.

Actual days to pay per invoice
In UK, the Office of Small Business Commissioner is working on improving payment times for small businesses, via the Fair Payment Code. To obtain an award under the code, you need to submit evidence that you pay 95% of all your invoices within 30 days (for small suppliers) or 60 days (larger suppliers). Currently there is no report in Xero that reports actual days to pay per invoice. I have been using the Payable Invoice Summary report with various filters applied (Payable Invoice, Paid) and exporting it to Excel where I manually add a formula to count the days between…

Allow Assigned Project Users to Invoice in Xero Projects with ‘Draft Only’ Permission
We use Xero Projects and assign each project to a project manager. Our managers need to invoice tasks directly within their assigned projects as this then shows which tasks have been invoiced within the project. Currently this is only possible if they have:
• Standard Project access, and
• Sales (Invoice) permissionThe problem is that these permissions give the users too much access to company wide financial data, including ALL projects, invoices, and bills (not just the ones assigned to them).

Correct historical "Posted Date" on Gross to Net report
On the Gross to Net report, payments before August 2024 have a "posted date" set to the date the report was generated, which is incorrect. See attached example.
To reduce confusion, either:
- The Posted Date feature should be backdated so that payments before August 2024 show the correct "posted date"

Xero Projects - assigned user filter / column for reports
We have assigned users to different projects in Xero Projects. However we are not able to filter reports based on Assigned Users. There is currently no filter or a separate column we could use to filter a report to show all projects assigned to a particular user and not the whole company. This would be useful for Project Summary reports in particular.

Allow email forwarding of invoices directly into Xero as draft bills
I would like the ability to set up an email forwarding rule so that any incoming invoices can be automatically forwarded to Xero and created as draft bills.
At the moment, there’s no verified mailbox or built-in process that allows this automation, meaning invoices have to be manually uploaded or sent from specific addresses.
Adding this feature would make invoice management faster, simpler, and far more cost-effective, as users wouldn’t need to subscribe to third-party apps or integrations just to achieve automatic forwarding.1 voteThanks for submitting your idea on Xero Product Ideas. Bulk Actions for Expenses: Restore Submit/Approve Many. With the retirement of Classic Expenses, a major efficiency feature has been lost: the ability to process expense claims in bulk.
The Problem: Currently, each individual expense claim must be opened, reviewed, and actioned one-by-one. For anyone who needs to approve 20 claims at the end of the week, this is an incredibly tedious and time-consuming process. What was once a 30-second task now takes many times longer.
The Solution: Reintroduce checkboxes and a bulk action menu to the expense claims overview screen. This would allow users to:
