  1. Now that directors fees are considered allowances, they don't show up in the employee remuneration report because that is for OTE only.
    I would greatly appreciate being able to include directors on the remuneration report because the board asks for total remuneration on a monthly basis.

  2. I would like to be able to Import a file from a spreadsheet for a bank deposit received. We currently receive 1 bank deposit which will pay 200 invoices over 10 Sales Accounts.

    We currently Import a Spreadsheet file to upload our sales invoices.

    I would like to be able to Import a Spreadsheet file to upload the bank deposit received for 200 plus invoices, this would save a lot of manually typing invoice numbers in when processing the Deposit in XERO.

  3. Have a function that allows Invoice Reminders to be paused over holiday periods (to prevent clients receiving invoice reminders on Christmas Day, Easter etc). Would delay the reminders sending them out after the "holiday" dates had lapsed.

  4. When generating a task based invoice automatically by clicking on 'time and expenses' I really need the ability to automatically have the item self populate or asigned to the task. At the moment as soon as we manually select an 'item' for the task the other fields disappear (description, qty, unit price) rendering the invoice useless and removing any time savings from the feature. Not having this feature really slows down our invoicing process big time!

  5. Ability to assign appointments from outlook into projects as time entries. Narrative of work completed could be put in the appointment and then assigned to the project. The colour of the appointment in outlook would change colour to show its been assigned.

  6. Purpose: to be able to move payroll from one Xero company to another quickly and without errors.

    When exporting employee details from payroll in order to bulk upload them onto another company's payroll, it is not possible to do a bulk export. You have to instead individually download each employee. This is fine if there are only 10-20 employees, but any bigger and you are opening yourself up to missing employees and making mistakes. Any other exports currently available do not give all the information needed to then import directly into a new payroll.

  7. Xero split - id like to see this removed. It's completely non user friendly and painful. We should be able to process a payment I
    Of choice regardless of receipt or payment. Please Xero work on this area. Other accounting package makes it so East
    Y. Xero is difficult and I cant see why it needs to be

  8. Prompt if Changes have not been SAVED

    What I would like is, after entering data in the Notes (or Items on Invoice, Purchase Orders etc..) If there are changes to the Invoice/Notes (or any update screen) on the screen BUT if the user does not click SAVE then the changes are lost.

    If the invoice/purchase order/notes etc... have had changes and SAVE is not clicked, it would be helpful to have some sort of reminder available that auto prompts you

    'Changes have been made do you want to save these?'

    or something similar so any work entered, but not SAVED…

  10. Currently, Employee summary gives a a lone total only for the period entered. A report showing one line of detail for every payrun paid, would be very beneficial when processing government claims, or providing information to employees for Centrelink instead of the the cumbersome Activity report, or multiple payslips.

  12. With the payroll linking RTI with HMRC (UK), it would be really helpful if the pensions could do the same, not just with Scottish Widows but more providers.

    This would really streamline the whole payroll process and save so much time.

  15. I wonder if this is possible: After sending a sales invoice to a client there is nothing on Xero stopping me from editing it. I would like to see Xero put something in place whereby once a sales invoice is marked as sent, it should not be possible at all to edit it. If the user needs to edit it, they would need to issue a credit note and new invoice. Also, if the customer requires another copy of the sent invoice it should automatically be marked “Copy”. Is that possible?

    Hi Howard, not on an individual invoice basis, however it might be worth exploring if Lock Dates could be a good way to help prevent  changes to  

    invoices that have been entered to a specific date? 

    Lock dates are limited to certain roles in an org, which would help prevent users with roles outside of these from being able to make changes to transactions within the lock date range. 

  16. it would be ideal if you could have the ability to remove / delete costs in the main information tab in a quote. Ie: If you apply a template with a bunch of costs but realise you need to change it - it would be idea to be able to select multiple costs and just remove them from the quote rather than having to go into each individual cost and deletling.

  17. On the reconcile it would be really useful to add a note to transactions on the left hand side of the screen so it's easy to reference the correct invoice/account later on - we take deposits long before the invoice is finalised and this is hard to track back sometimes, particularly when making a cash deposit to the bank or the money has come in on the card machine and could be much faster if a note could be left with the account it relates to until it can be reconciled.

  18. In the old version of Bank Reconciliation Summary report, the headers "Balance in Xero" and "Statement Balance" sitting with its balance amount in the same row.

    After updated to the new version, the report, https://reporting.xero.com/!bX2sj/v1/Run/1066 for example, the balance falls different row of its title. It doesn't make sense and this would make it complex because you are not able to use scripts or Vlookup to manage those report (if they are not align in the same row).

    Could you please consider
    1. moving the balance amount to the same row of its header, or
    2. Adding a description for…

  19. Sometimes an entity will de-register for GST because they are no longer required to file, then circumstances change and they re-register. Currently in Xero when you re-register Xero creates all the prior period GST returns for when the client was deregistered. You then have to manually delete all the prior draft returns.

    Would be great if you could have an option to choose the new start date for GST.

  20. Currently, one can show the field "InvoiceFeeReimbursed" for a Stripe surcharge on an invoice. However, this is just the gross amount (net + VAT), while one needs to split it and show it properly on a VAT invoice?

    It would be best if the surcharge would be a conditional line itewm on an invoice, with all the settings available just like for any other line.

    For example, let's say an invoice is for a domestic UK customer, the total amount (before a surcharge) being £100 + £20 VAT 20%. Let's say the surcharge is 3%, so £3.60. As I'm not…
