  1. The item code on the New invoicing shows much smaller that it was on the Classic Invoicing. Example attached shows how much harder it is to read. Can this be enlarged?

  2. Ability or setting to default include files attached to an invoice when sending from Xero

    Purpose | Steps are currently involved to include files that are on an invoice when sending the invoice to a customer, an option like this would ease the process of including files that a customer needs to have access to and see when they received their invoice

  3. Stop "Mark as sent" pop-up for every invoice. When making multiple new invoices, this pop-up occurs for each invoice made, no matter if reminders are turned off. This is new, started April 2024, and XERO support states there is no way to turn this off.

  5. Move the "add last items" in the invoicing screen. Half the time the Billable items button comes up first in its place, but then moves to a lower point on the screen. The problem is if you click on it before it moves to the lower point on screen or just as it does, you end up with the last invoiced items on the invoice that you don't want.

  6. We have grant funding so wages as well as super needs to be applied with the tracking code to acquit grant correctly. Presently, there is no availability to apply tracking codes against the superannuation, as well it is only available through timesheets for the wages.
    It would be very helpful if tracking codes could be applied directly with pay items in employee template (similarly like other software) so this can be applied when leave is taken also

  7. We create multiple invoices with deferred income. Currently I can approve the sales invoice then under "Invoice Options" copy to a new invoice and all the data is pulled over. I can then adjust the nominal ledger to the balance sheet and approve that, then again from the "Invoice Options" I can add a credit note to the P&L. I can then copy again to create a new sales invoice for the date when the income is due to the P&L and create that and once again add a credit note to credit the balance sheet. I realise this might…

    Thanks for sharing your feedback and the detail on how you use invoicing here. Just to make sure I understand fully and can share back with the team - when you say you want to retain all the data. It is currently possible to copy an invoice to a new draft invoice for the same contact, however is it that you are wanting the contacts defaults to be applied to the new invoice?

  8. I'd like to suggest a feature enhancement for the invoicing system. When adding new line items from our saved parts catalog, it would be incredibly useful if we could update the price of a product directly on the invoice, and have that new price saved permanently to the in our inventory product code. This way, we can ensure that our part prices are always up-to-date without the need to manually update them in multiple places. This would be really helpful for business that have a lot of different part numbers or product codes from multiple suppliers.

    Out of interest would you expect existing invoices where you have used this item to be updated with the price as well or only subsequent invoices?

It would be great to apply the Customers general discount (as set on their Contact Card) to only specified product items, not all product items. e.g. I don't want the Customers discount applied to say my Freight or Labour product items, but I do want to apply it to other products items we are selling.

    I would envisage a Tick Box on each Product card that we can tick, or untick, for the Customers Discount to be applied to it (by default it would be ticked to apply the Customers Discount).

  16. Have a designated advisor / subscriber have the ability to remove multi factor authentication from a user so that a new method can be set up by the user.

  17. In my business it is common for orders to be eg 10 bags of 25kg bags with prices $xx/kg. As far as I can see there is no field for pack size, ie 25 in the example. Also a product coming in range of sizes is easier with 1 description and range of pack sizes. Then would want functionality to have total line quantity and total line cost calculated from the 3 parameters.

When a client changes their GST taxable periods (e.g. 2-monthly to 6-monthly filing) they often need to file a return for a non-standard number of months to align with their balance date (e.g. 4-month GST return). It would be nice to be able to change the GST period settings in Xero to allow for the non-standard GST return to be filed directly from Xero.

  19. It would be great if we could open an approved expense, click "copy" to duplicate all the details but leave the attachment blank for a new photo, rather than needing to create a new expense and manually enter the same details each time.
