Revoult - Savings & Funds Bank Feed
Xero already supports a Revoult bank feed for the 'Main' account but when bank a feed established it does not include the 'Savings & Funds' bank feed.
As Revoult offer the 'Savings & Funds' account as part of the standard business account offering, majority of customers would use the 'Savings & Funds' account too as it is interest generating.
Please add a bank feed for the Revoult Savings & Funds to make it a seamless reconciliation process.

planned date
add to show the planned date for payment on the contact page where you can see all the bills as an option for the columns. so we can see if we have set up payment for each of the bills in the contact page for each contact/supplier.

Invoice Template: Add a template for a Pre-paymet invoice
We make products to order, and need to send out prepayment invoices to receive payment in advance.
This is not the same as a quote. Once a quote is accepted, I would like to convert it into a Prepayment invoice. Or just be able to create a Prepayment invoice. This could then be linked to a prepayment when it arrives in our bank, and later assigned to an Invoice which we send when the order is shipped.

Invoice Template - Setting for Decimal format
Invoices Australia
An update in the last few months bought inconsistency into the invoicing format in terms of the decimal points on the unit pricing. It would be good to be able to define this - to two, three, four decimal points so that there is consistency on the invoices rather than some units at two and some at four decimal points.11 votesWe're grateful for your engagement and letting us know the changes that matter to you.

Why are depreciation journals posted as cash journals?
It would be great if Xero could make the automated depreciation journals to be not cash. Then we don't have to think about whether the setup in the Cash flow report is correct or not. Surely this is just a setting issue in automated journal?

Inventory - Calculating return on investment (ROI)
For businesses who have invested in equipment and generate an income from the hire or use of the equipment. The ability to calculate (through analytics or a report) the % 'Return On Investment'.
The data is already in Xero (cost of good/equipment purchased VS total sales), just needs a simple way to display this info and calculated in a % and/or just view the data simply and easily.
Currently have to create your own Excel spreadsheet and input that data from Xero manually. Seems a simple report/statistic to generate and would be incredibly useful for business who need to know their net position on equipment purchases/hire.For businesses who have invested in equipment and generate an income from the hire or use of the equipment. Report Codes ability to edit from Chart of Accounts, not separate area.
Report Codes ability to edit from Chart of Accounts, not separate area. I see that you have marked previous suggestions as completed, because you've added a button. It isn't a button we are seeking, it is the ability to edit directly within COA, rather than having to go elsewhere. The elsewhere is still a useful tool to help identify when clients have added their own codes, but from a click minimisation perspective why not have COA and Report Codes integrated, and provide us with a field to add our nominated report code.

Report codes for notes disclosure
Report codes for notes disclosure - I use chart of accounts for notes disclosures, rather than relying on remembing to manually edit numbers within notes. It would be helpful if there could be a category we could choose under Equity which was for Notes Disclosure or Non-Reporting. The entries always contra, so it would be helpful to not have to edit the report layout for each additional new code.

Find & Recode - Support expenses
Currently coding can be edited by admins for things that have been posted to the wrong account code for example. This isn't possible with expenses once they have been submitted. It'd be good to be able to do as sometimes they're not seen by Accounts dept until they've been approved.
1 voteHi Christine, I notice you've posted your idea in the Workpapers forum - But just to check it sounds like your idea here is referring to the Find & recode feature in your Xero organisation ? Would that be correct?

Xero Network - Send purchase order via the network
Xero to xero network - send purchase orders. Want to be able to send my regular supplier a Xero Purchase order via Xero network, who can then create a bill in their Xero, who can then send me their Invoice via Xero network. Would be super helpful given the start of the workflow is typically the purchase order.
3 votesThanks for your idea, Paul. Great to hear you find using the Xero network helpful in your workflow.
We'll gauge the interest from the community in expanding the use of the network to send purchase orders. This isn't something we have plans for at this stage but we'll let you know if there are any updates.

auto code imported invoices for payment
Similar to bank rules, when coding an invoice for approval/payment create rules from a particular supplier so that multiple lines can be auto coded - ie Our Power supplier invoice is split into 3 account codes by % each time (33% bar cost, 40% general, 27% restaurant). Could this be set up similar to bank rules?
1 voteHi Barry, just to get a better understanding can you share a bit more information how you'd typically create invoices in Xero? I note you've mentioned importing in the title of your idea - do you use the CSV template for this?

Bulk inventory adjustments to include other adjustment fields (reference and tracking)
Great to see this new feature, for it to be truely usable it would need to include the other inventory adjustment fields for Reference and tracking. Can these be added, please?

Profit & Loss - Change heading default to 'Net Profit / (Loss)'
I WOULD LIKE TO RECOMMEND A PRODUCT UPDATE ON THE PROFIT & LOSS REPORT.
THE REPORTS 'Net Profit' ON ALL REPORTS, EVEN IF SOME PERIODS HAVE A LOSS. CAN IT INCLUDE 'Net Profit/(Loss)' AS PEOPLE, ESPECIALLY THOSE NOT IN THE ACCOUNTING FIELD TO KNOW THAT BRACKETS MEANS A LOSS, MAY INTERPRET (LOSS) AS A PROFIT
1 voteHi Ntando, it'll be good to gauge interest from others in the community that'd like this terminology to be used as a default on the Profit & Loss report.
Want to be open this isn't anything we have any plans for atm with the customisation that's available.
As you may already be across, currently you can edit the heading of the row through the Edit layout, and then Save as Custom where you have the option to make the report the default for the organisation.

Spend Money - "Save" vs "Save and Close"
Right now "Save" is essentially "Save and Close" -- and then "Save & Add Another" creates a new blank item.
I would like "Save" to stay on the same screen, so I can then use "Copy" from the "Options" menu to enter the same/similar item.

Spend Money - Prefill details based on last entered
For Spend Money, to help speed up entry:
Prefill the last entry for that Contact. Most venders (e.g. "Uber") will be the same expense type over and over. Having the 1st item prefill from the last entry will save time.

Xero Me - Timesheets - Employees to view timesheets submitted on their behalf.
It would be good to have the ability to add timesheets to the payslips sent to the staff.
Our staff don't work set rostered hours and the times are entered by the Supervisors due to the nature of the work. When the employees want to check their pay, they haven't got anything to reference. Having the approved timesheets sent with the payslip would allow them to query their pay more accurately.
1 voteThank you for sharing your idea, and letting us know about the changes that matter most for you and your team.
We understand the need for employees to easily reference their timesheet details when reviewing their pay.
We wanted to point out that if you provide your employees with Xero Me access, they can submit and view their own approved timesheets directly within the app. This provides them with the reference needed when they receive their payslip.
It’s now up to the community to get behind and support it! Please share your idea with any colleagues who could benefit so they can add their vote too. Along with votes, other members can now comment to share additional detail about how your idea could improve their experience with Xero.

UK Payroll - Allow non employees to add timesheets through the Web or Xero Me
I would like to add CIS labourers (none employees) to payroll, so timesheets can be added like a wage slip, rather than an invoice, this would help with the likes of connecteam, with their timesheet integrations

NZ Payroll - Include bonuses in Remuneration Reports
It would be good to beable to add employees Annual bonuses into xero so we don't have to refer to their contracts each time. As well as a report that will show employees details Remuneration, Bonuses etc
2 votesThanks for sharing your idea for updates you would like to see in the Employee Remuneration report.
We've reviewed your idea and now it's up to the community to get behind and support it.

In the meantime, we can suggest a possible workaround so that your employees bonus information is held within Xero would be to add this as a Note in each employees Employment record for easy access.

UK Payroll - Auto enrolment postponements
When an employee has a postponed autoenrollment the pension doesn't prompt or show up until just before the payment run has been posted. Making any prior payroll reports and payslips incorrect as the pension then tags on at the end. So reports then need to be reprinted and balanced again.
Can the prompt no show up at the start of the pay run? This will then save any duplicated reports and potential incorrect payments.
Also the pension filing report viewable before the RTI posting.
Alternatively, enter the postponement date when posting the pay run in which the employee becomes eligible for auto enrolment. This will sync to the employee's record once the pay run is posted.
