    Hi community, sometime on since my last post we wanted to provide an update for your all here and appreciate the continued attention this idea is receiving.

    We want to be upfront that at this time focuses for the team are in other areas of bank reconciliation and we don't have any current plans for developing the ability to import and export bank rules from an organisation.

    We understand and know this is important to everyone that has voted for the idea and will continue to review and pay close attention to the feedback and votes here. When there is more opportunity for the team to refocus efforts here we will keep you informed of any progress.

  2. On the Outstanding Cust Statements, will be great for the Balance column to be cumulative row by row, instead of PER row. Eg, see attached, if the Cust wants to pay all the June Invoices - they will need to manually add up. What is the point of a Balance column, if it is the same as the Invoice column. Yes, I am aware that it shows a partial payment of an invoice, but then maybe keep the PER ROW balance, and ADD a column for the cumulative one. Thank you :)

  3. Have an area in the contact card to opt out of the remittance advice for that supplier. This will save the time in unticking suppliers that never want remittance advice every time a batch payment is made.

I need to produce a monthly list of completed projects ie all jobs finished and paid in a month but when you produce a report, and set the dates from 1st to 31st, it goes by invoice/expense date so, if 1 invoice in a project paid in the beginning of the next month, it puts that invoice on its own in then next month, thus splitting the project so not showing the correct profit margin. I am going to have to manually do this once I've exported the information into an editable document, which will take hours. Also, as another…

  5. Please create an option on the customer invoice setup to lock invoice numbers so that the user is unable to change or edit the system generated invoice numbers. In South Africa it is important for SARS and audit purposes that invoices are sequential and certain users should not have the ability to change or edit that field. But please give us the option to select when a user is able to edit or change that field.

  11. Delivery Address:

    To have the ability to add a delivery address when raising an invoice that can be printed onto the invoice. This would need to permanently save the delivery address to that invoice. When a new invoice to the same customer is raised then have the ability to enter another delivery address if required without effecting the previous invoice delivery address.

  13. OVERPAYMENT - Approved, sent and paid - Statement

    I am sending two photos. In one there is the statement of account 610 which correctly includes an Overpayment made.

    In the second we find the other statement "Approved, sent and paid" which instead highlights an Overpayment made even if allocated in the invoice. From my point of view it should not be there. There should only be if the overpayment has not yet been allocated.

  16. We're currently using xero projects a lot and something that happens fairly regularly is staff posting time entries into finalised periods. I.e. we have run reports and finalised an accounting period and then there have been later changes in those periods in xero projects. It would be good to be able to lock periods in xero projects as we do with financial informtation in xero.

  17. I want more decimal places on the Line Amount and Invoice Total to display as follow:
    1.7568 x 25.12 = 44.1309

  18. Hi there, I would like to be able to assign line items (that are the same) on a bill to multiple customers.

    i.e. 2 x oil filters, assign ONE of each to separate customers without having to enter them on separate lines on the bill to do so.

    Also, when creating an invoice and viewing "items to assign to a customer" I would like to be able to see the Supplier AND their invoice number in that list.

  19. A Xero user with invoice-only access can currently only access files in the file library when creating an invoice. We need this feature to also be available when the same user creates a quote. There is no added risk since the user already has access to the files when creating an invoice. Standard files needs to be sent to clients with their quote and this now needs to be stored on a drive instead of the file library.
