  2. New Invoicing - Description Box Defined

    It would be great if the new invoice description field had a defined box around it like the rest of the row does. The old invoice does and it looks cleaner. I find myself second guessing if those descriptions are in the correct place because it looks like they all run together.

    Thanks for confirming, Nicki. I can confirm I've shared this back with the team. We are looking at further improvements to the invoicing grid, so I'll let you know here if  there's any news for this.

  3. On the Account Watchlist in the Dashboard, I would like to display a custom budget that I created for 2024 in lieu of the default 'overall budget' that it shows. Please make this feature possible as it will provide a good, quick snapshot on how we're trending to budget w/out having to pull up reports. An alternative would be to tag a custom budget as the 'default' that would appear in the accounts watchlist. Regardless, let's make this happen! Thanks for considering.

  6. Ability to obtain a report on the actual costings on each timesheet category. Currently only able to report on the hours paid. Would be helpful to find out costing on each category. Presently have to manually calculate by multiplying hourly rate charge and hours (plus super).

  7. Hi I need a detailed report like the Payroll transaction list report that also includes the account code the amount was posted too. I want to reconcile the journal posting to the Indvidual's so i can see who is incorrectly setup.

    Hi Claire, you can add an expected payment date from the Awaiting payments list in Sales. Appreciate it's not quite possible from the individual invoice itself atm so have slightly updated the title of your idea here. If there's any plans of adding this here we'll let you know.

  10. Analytics Plus - Predictions do not filter based on bank account selection

    When you have multiple bank accounts but only need one selected for cash flow purposes, the monthly predictions that xero has created do not filter out based on the bank account they were predicted from.

    In my example I now have petty cash predictions and interest income from a savings account showing when only the main current account is selected, this messes with the predicted end balance making the cash totally useless

  11. Ability to have the tax amount show on each line item and not just in the total below or even better so that sales tax automatically shows within the line item amount as per on screen, but when Printed to PDF it shows no Tax amounts per line.

  13. Within the find and recode facility I would like the ability to change the amount posted. This can be particularly useful for repeating journals. For example, there could be a monthly release of a rent prepayment, where a rent review has been backdated several months and therefore the charge released needs adjusting historically. As it stands currently, each individual posting needs editing, rather than (say) being able to change 9 month's postings in one entry.

  15. Make creating leave requests functional when using keyboard entry.

    Currently, when I want to create a leave request, I:
    - go to the top menu, tab across to Payroll and select (4 keystrokes),
    - arrow down to Leave and select (4 keystrokes),
    - tab through to New Request and select (15 keystrokes),
    and then no matter how much I try I cannot get to select either Leave or Cash Out Leave without using the mouse.

    Then, once I have used the mouse to get the new leave request pop-up, I have to:
    - tab to the employee field (3 keystrokes)…

  17. When setting up a contact, it would be useful to be able to add a new tracking category directly in the contacts screen. If I forget to add a new tracking category to my existing list first and go to add a new contact then the tracking category isn't there. I then need to change menus in order to set up the tracking category and then go back and edit my contact to include it. I think it would be a good feature.

  18. Please explore the possibility of generating a report that efficiently and clearly captures Recurring Payments made to any contact or supplier with either monthly or yearly frequency?

    Currently, this is not achievable without significant manual effort to extract data from various reports in Xero. While I’m aware that the "Repeating Bill Payment" feature setup can also aid with producing a report of this nature, most clients do not use this setup, and the information isn't sufficient.

    Payments have been processed in Xero through various methods, including bills, direct debits, and spend money transactions. The desired report should be able to…

  19. When I was paying just GST, I could file my tax return directly to the IRD from XERO. I am now paying GAP (GST and Provisional Tax) and no longer get the option to file my GST return directly from XERO - I can only file it manually, which is obviously much more time consuming. XERO, can you please make changes to your setup so that GAP payments can be filed with the NZ IRD straight from XERO. Thank you.
