Customer Statements - Add a Pay Now link
Ability to add a Pay Now link to statements so customers can pay all outstanding bills via the statement they receive.
Purpose: To make it easier for customers to view and pay their outstanding bills and make a bulk payment for all at once.

Hi team, appreciate wanting to hear news from us here and apologies we've not checked back in sooner. Our product team have done initial work to understand the work involved in enabling your customers to pay you through Customer Statements. This is a priority for them and we have plans to develop this capability, however they need to balance this work with other key priorities. While we'll leave the idea Under review for the time being, as soon as there's an update we'll share this all with you, here.

this is a must for moving forward - we get a lot of customers asking why they don't have the option to pay their statement when they have the option to just pay an individual invoice

when is this pay now button going to be availiable on statements? I am about to cancel my Stripe facility to look for an alternative where my clients can pay their EOM total by credit card. It's embarrassing not being able to provide this for them!

Been waiting a long time for this functionality for clients to "pay now" on receipt of their statements. Really look forward to this being added.

From the statement client could check box what invoice(s) the payment applies to, as well as a Pay all option.
Come on XERO we are the tip of the iceberg shouting this out

Figuring that we now have Pay Now on Invoices.
How hard is it to add the Pay Now button on statements?
Thanks. -

Xero Team, if this is a challenge from a programming perspective, you could always allow the customer to click on the invoices they want to pay in an online version of the statement of account and then the total at the bottom includes all invoices checked. From our customer's point of view, this is A LOT easier.
Also, the faster and easier WE get paid, the more time we have to look for new clients to add to Xero and then Xero gets paid more. -

We have customers who will end up with a number of invoices to be paid and would like to be able to pay them with a single transaction, rather than have to find the invoices and pay each one individually.
By putting a payment link for the outstanding total on the statement generated this would be a much better process than to have to go to Square and create a custom transaction that we then have to match in Xero. -

To add the pay now button to statements => this would be a fantastic feature where customers have the ability to click on the pay now button and select the invoices they are paying, or all outstanding invoices. This would dramatically improve cashflow for our firm and many of our clients.

It does seem crazy that the system automatically sends out statements but then clients don't have the option to pay the full balance and have to pay the invoices individually. For an accounting system this must be one of the most basic functions that should be available?

So current workflow
Email statement, customer opens pdf, customer copies contents of pdf to email, customer emails requesting copies of invoices, we email invoices, customer opens them one by one to pay !!!
This is really a waste of everyone's time.We just want a link in the statement email where the customer can view all outstanding invoices and pay all of them or a subset, in one click

Please can you just add the online link when you send out statements. Would make life so much easier!

Please consider adding a Pay Now link to Statements, whether Instant Pay direct to bank or Card payments or both! I believe this would be a very useful tool and quicker for us to be paid and would save admin time on both sides 😀. Thank you!

I would consider a Pay Now link on the statements an essential feature for all professional businesses. A link on the statements to the invoices would also be nice but that might be asking a bit too much! Thanks

A Pay Now link on the statements would save so much time, and increase payment turn around times. I constantly have to resend invoices so that clients have the link - it would be great to have this option on the statement to save time for everyone!! Can this please be added? Thanks!

Xero team please enable this feature. From a software development perspective, this is a feature that would take minutes to implement. Can I please ask why you are ignoring your customers and not enabling this feature?

I have many customers contacting me saying they can't pay directly from the Statements they receive. It's frustrating to say that Xero doesn't provide this option. Please can you add the Pay Now link onto Statements. Many thanks

I only just discovered that it isn't possible to insert a pay now button on statements when a client raised this query with me. Considering Xero is one of the most popular accounting softwares, I am both surprised and confused that it isn't possible yet. Would be great to see implemented!

This would be a fantastic feature where statements can be sent to all customers, and they have the ability to click on a pay now button and select the invoices they are paying. This would dramatically improve cashflow for us and many of our clients. I can't believe this is not already in place, many of our clients have their customers pay on statement, not on individual invoices. Please get this one done asap.

In the interest of reducing Accounts Receivable, the ability for a customer to pay outstanding invoices from the statement would be great for business!
