  1. Currently there is only the ability to enter 4 Directors names into the Report fields in 'Advanced accounting › Report fields and schedules'
    So when we run the advisor reports, on the Director Declaration's page we have to manually type in the extra directors.
    Can you increase the fields for more than 4 directors and even more than 4 partners.

    Thanks for engaging and sharing the idea here - Having a deeper read to interpret, there's the ability to add more client report fields that can be included in your report templates yourself (such as Director 5, Director 6 etc) - See detail in our help here.

    A couple of pointers to note, are;

    • ensure you have the Edit report templates permission, then
    • add the new client report fields at Xero HQ level first; this'll make them available to add in your Report templates. Then, add the names of the directors at the client level.

    We hope this helps you overcome the idea here, let us know if this doesn't quite accomplish what you're asking.

  2. Enable a Bank account to be created when the Chart of Accounts we have created in HQ is imported. Currently, this is not possible. All Bank accounts in the COA need to be changed to Current Assets, and then in the newly created Xero Blue organisation file, the "Bank" accounts have to be deleted and created again! Very annoying. The overall process is great, but this is annoying. We have many bank accounts in our various standard chart of accounts. I want to include the bank accounts so that my staff know the account numbers to use when they set…

  3. It would be great if there was an option to change staff permissions in bulk. So if there was a practice employee for example who now needed Payroll Admin access for 20 clients, it could be done in a few clicks as opposed to changing it for each of those 20 clients.

  4. Adobe signatures option available to be able to remove the blue line, name and the date from the signature. It is unnecessary on most of the documents and looks odd.

  5. When you have multiple companies using Xero and utilise the function to approve bills in Xero for audit tracking purposes you need a way to view the number of bills "Awaiting approval" in all of the companies in one place.

    It is very time consuming to open each company individually in order to confirm that there are bills that need approval.

  6. I'm being advised My Xero will be being replaced with Xero HQ. As an admin, one of my key roles is to grant user access. I like to confirm the access by sending/responding to the request with an email. In My Xero, I copy the name of the entity, and it's associated hyperlink, into my response email. When I do this in Xero HQ, there is no hyperlink associated with the entity name which means I need to navigate to the entity, grab the URL and hyperlink it manually.

When setting up a new client in Xero, it would be great if we could select from a drop-down list the chart of accounts that we need instead of Xero automatically assigning one as we have found that it is assigning the wrong COA to the entities that we are creating. As an example - we have set up a Trust but have been given the COA for a Sole Trader. If we could have selected the Trust COA from a drop-down list, I believe it would give us a more accurate COA without the need to do so much…

  10. When changing organisations, it would be great to see more than five.

    Suggest you show them all so we can scroll until we find the one one want, not just rely on using the search to type in the name of the organisation, if it doesn't appear in the current list of five

  11. In Xero HQ as a partner we have Report Templates which we can use for our clients. Currently, it only allows us to export to PDF or Excel or Google Sheets.

    It would be useful. helpful and beneficial for practitioners to be able to export it to WORD format so that we can re-format the font type, font size and header and footer styles..

  12. It would be great to show the lock dates from each client's Xero file in HQ. Visually, it would be very similar to the Year End column, and likely not enabled by default.

    This would allow Advisors to easily identify clients that don't have prior periods locked, and then go into those files and correct it. This would increase usage of this important data protection feature and reduce errors caused by inadvertent prior period adjustments.

  15. It is not really Xero HQ, it is in MyXero dashboard and in subscriptions where you can input a client code. This is the code that then shows on the CSV file attached to the monthly Xero bill for client subscriptions. At the moment this client code can only be input manually. We really need the ability to export client subscription list and re-import with a client code so that it would make allocating client Xero files for billing easier each month.   16. A report showing which clients are using which bank feeds.

  18. Xero Sign Address book or similar

    Would be great if Xero sign had some form of memory or address book for people who had previously signed, rather than having to input the details each time.

    Whether is was linked to practice manager or just within Xero sign, it would save time having to look up client email addresses, and possible typos in names/emails!

  19. Multi select or more filter options when processing superannuation payments. This would expediate processing super payments for large employers. For example, you should be able to filter the super payment to show only last month super and select all and submit for payment. At the moment, if we want to process the previous month's super, we have to manually unselect each employee super that relates to the next month or quarter that we aren't required to pay yet.
