  2. I am wanting to run a weekly report which lists any lodged returns that have been ticked as Final Returns in the return itself. This will then trigger a set of tasks to wind up the client (ie ASIC deregistrations etc).

  3. We have access to costs locked down so most staff cannot edit entered costs. However it would be useful if they could tick or untick the billable option that determines whether the cost appears on the invoice or is absorbed.

  4. Similar to Xero Receipt Scanner, but just for timesheets

    A functionality (app) that can scan a manual handwritten timesheet from a notebook and enter the time spent into XPM timesheet, for people who prefer manually writing timesheets in a notebook.

  5. we use job numbers to identify the works being carried out so I entered the Job number in Contacts against the Client name but this number comes out on the invoice against the client name on the address block. It would be good to be able to have multiple jobs nos for each client so we can identify the job no. on the Customer page

  6. GST reminders
    Like the Tax reminders for provisional and student loan but for GST and maybe even PAYE, so if you create and file the GST return though Practice Manger it feeds back info on what is outstanding and what has been paid with the option of sending reminders out to clients on payments due about a week out from the final date.

  7. It would be useful to have two dates for recurring jobs - one on which the recurring job is generated and a second date for when the work is to be started. We like to have all of our annual jobs generate on 1 April so we can easily see what work is outstanding for the year, received or not, but we obviously can't start everything in April. The planning aspects of XPM would be more useful if we could set the jobs to generate on 1 April then input a start date of when we are likely to start…

  8. Ability to enter historical Ad-Hoc time. If entering ad-hoc time for yesterday or older - you have to enter as todays date, then edit the entry to change the date.

    Would be much easier to have the option to select the date in the initial posting - rather having to edit.

  9. Ability to amend or remove some of the system data fields such as 'Year end date'. Not all clients need a year end date (for example if they have just signed up for some consulting work). We have successfully used 'custom fields' to tailor XPM to match our client database needs and it would be great to also have control over some of the custom fields to remove as we don't need all of them.

  10. I would like to see the Job Manager in the Home page of the jobs workflow. At the moment you can only Filter by Manager, however I want to see the status of all of my jobs with the manager in a column out to the side.

  12. Thanks to the team for releasing the ability to link one contact to multiple clients! While appreciated, it falls a tad short since only the "Position" is set per client. If possible, it would be great if the Salutation, Addressee, Phone, Mobile, Email Address, and Custom Fields, could also be set on a per client basis. This would allow for flexibility where the one contact has different contact details per client.

    One example is a bookkeeper that works for 5 clients of ours. For two of those clients, they use hey@awesomebookkeeping.com. For the other three, they use accounts@client1.com,…

  13. XPM does not cater for titles for non-binary individuals. We have an individual who is non-binary. Their title is MX. This is currently not an option that is available in the Title drop down menu. Can this be added by Xero please?

  14. Xero Practice Manager - Tax

    I want to be able to run two reports to see which staff have tax access to which clients and to see to which clients a staff member has tax access. This is very important for security purposes and additionally to help us meet our obligations as tax agents.

  15. The ability to file AIM returns on a cash basis is important for clients for cash flow purposes. Some clients deal with large invoices that don't get paid out within the same period they are issued. This can inflate their tax figure for the period and strain their cash flow until they get paid.

  17. If you have your firm time billing set to round up then all of the reports - even actual time reports, report the rounded hours and not the actual minutes worked. This is really inaccurate and makes it really difficult for me to get a good gauge on employee billing and performance. Please look at amending any reports using a rounded time figure that should be actual time.

    In addition and also critical to this issue XPM timesheets for payroll but I am also pretty certain that if you are using XPM timesheets for your payroll it pulls/exports the rounded…
