XPM - SMSF fields in report builder
Xero don't currently have specific SMSF fields available to report on in the Report Builder.
This would be great if made available in the future.

Practice Manager - Show tax payment notices in client's Dashboard
In XPM, if we want to look at what tax payment notices we’ve sent to a client, we can’t see this by looking at the individual client’s dashboard. We need to go to the tax menu then search the client. It would be good if we could see it on the individual client’s dashboard as a section in the Tax Returns tab.

Practice manager | Clients - History (new clients and amendments)
Currently is it not possible to generate an exception report showing new clients added during the previous month, quarter or year. This is an important piece of reporting for CRM purposes. Similarly, it would be nice to generate an exception report showing client changes with appropriate attribute filters.

Multi-currency - Remove currency
Remove a currecy added in error and never used, which makes reports more complicated than need be (Source AND GBP in every Transaction report, implying we are multicurrency when we never have been)

Practice Manager - Housekeeping (Assisted PII data removal for archived clients)
From what I understand is common in a lot of firms is when a client leaves/dies/etc their client profile is archived in XPM and the data persists into infinity.
Given the latest high profile data breaches is would be good if XPM had a Housekeeping module where firms could identify archived clients where the attached Personally Identifiable Information (In particular TFN, Bank account, phone/mobile and addresses) is no longer needed and permanently remove it in a structured process.
A similar process may need to be created for the forms that we generate from XPM so they they are permanently removed…

XPM - Report of Clients who DON'T have a certain Job Template
Reporting on XPM - I need to run a report from XPM that shows me ALL our clients who haven't had a job booked in yet showing the name "2023" so I can then chase them for checklists.
I can't see how to run a report that shows this. I really don't want to have to run multiple reports and compare things off - with over 1200 clients this takes an awful long time.
There has to be a simpler way.

Practice Manger - revert back to the old staff format
Please revert the staff page back to the old format.
What used to be able to be accessed all on one page, you now have to click through on to 10 different pages to access the same information, and then this involves scrolling through so much wasted "white space" as well.
Why are you insisting on pushing through with these changes to your programs which actually make more work for the people that use them.
And the consistent change to spread everything out so that you constantly have to scroll and scroll and scoll - why. Your need for so…

Ability to convert an Adhoc job to a normal job
In the new job manager Adhoc jobs no longer appear in the all jobs list.
As part of our Adhoc time review we would turn an Adhoc job into a regular job by changing the name, adding a budget, updating date etc. We have just done this for 50 jobs but they don't appear in the all jobs list.
There needs to be a way to turn an adhoc job into a regular job. Creating a new job and moving time is an unnecessary step when an adhoc job appearance doesn't look any different to a regular job.

Please indicate on the attached page which staff are currently working. This would help with seasonal practices to turn on and off staff without having to open each record.

Practice Manager - Move jobs within a client
Ability to move active jobs within a client so that when the automatic retrieval from ATO (+New Return, +New AS, +New CURNN) goes to the top job on the list. At the moment it automatically goes to the last job created. This wont necessarily be the job you want the automatic retrieval to go against. Should be able to sort the active jobs so that this can happen. We currently have to go into the automatic BAS created, delete it, open the correct job and create a new BAS from there.

XPM - Relationships - Add Share Class Type
The ability to add share class in relationships.
Currently you can only add the number of shares.
However, we have a lot of companies that have different share class types (A Class, B Class, ORD Class etc).
SUGGEST: adding a field under number of shares where you can type the share class (see attached example).This is a critical feature for our firm that is missing from XPM.

Practice Manager - Change the issue date for invoices
It would be great to have the ability to change the issue date for draft invoices created in Practice Manager. The only way to do this is to delete the invoice and re-create it which can be very time consuming. The Due date can stay as the company's default, and update according to the new issue date.

XPM - Apply Access Restrictions to Client tab
Similar to ability to restrict access to Xero Tax, its critical if we can have the ability to restrict access to certain client details. Currently you can search for any client details and there is no way to restrict access to this information. This functionality would be extra help for partners & staff members who are also clients of the firm.

Xero Tax(AU) - Edit cover letter
Hopefully there will be an editable field / automatic tick box in the Cover Letter for the Tax Returns where the Trustee for the Trust is a Company (Corporate Trustee) where we can put the name/s of the client in the Salutation and not the Corporate Trustee. Our tax returns would show "Dear Company Name" which sounds / looks wrong instead of "Dear Individual Name"

XPM - Import summary of earnings name from IRD in lower case format
Currently when XPM gets the Summary of Earnings information from IRD and imports this into the XPM tax return, this imports all the names of where they have earned income from in CAPITAL LETTERS. This isn't very friendly to the eye and we will often go in and rename each of these imported lines so they look nicer.
Or if these aren't edited, but other data is added e.g. business income, then the format won't match.

Practice Manager - Regular syncing of "Clients" to Xero Blue "Contacts"
The current sync of "clients" from XPM to "contacts" of the practice Xero Blue file only updates when an invoice is sent across.
Surely this could be made into an immediate sync, or at the very least an overnight sync?
Given XPM doesn't integrate with a whole lot of software and doesn't integrate with Zapier, many add-ons practices use are linked with the Xero Blue file and require that data to be accurate. - The sync between XPM and your practice Xero organisation contacts is different - we’ve explained this more below
