  1. 90% of the time when I want to move a timesheet entry it is to a different job for the same client and probably 99% of the time it is to a job for a client in the same group.

    However the "To" list that pops up is for all clients and when you type the first few letters of the client name it appears on the bottom line of the screen so you still usually have to scroll down to find the correct job.

    Is it possible to make all the jobs in the "From" client's group appear first…

  2. The ability to look up client by entering their client code. Currently we have to go to groups and find the client belonging to the group. Our admin system is based on client codes and it would make it easier having the client code look up option.

  3. It would be great to be able to set up Security Groups with permissions set for each group, which is then applied to each staff member by adding the Staff to that Security Group.

    This way, if a permission needs to be changed for a group of Staff, it can be done at the security group level rather than having to click into each Staff member and edit their individual permissions - which can create inconsistencies and easily miss settings when dealing with a large number of Staff.

  5. Bulk importing/creation of Jobs - to include Tasks with Estimated Time and Staff on Job.
    I would like to do a bulk creation of the Job and also then bulk creation of Tasks and Estimated Time, and to allocate to Staff on the Job. Or an easy entry area to update the Job Task Estimated time so you don't have to enter into each job individually to enter this data.

    Would it be possible to allow us to import the staff assignment via the CSV import file rather than assigning staff afterwards. Same for the template, category and job state.

    Regarding the bulk staff assignment function, could we add filters and have the columns sort when you click on the column headings of this section please.

    These two short comings is creating a huge delay in annual job creation for routine jobs.

    No we cannot use re-curing jobs as XPM does not have the functionality yet to choose the date on which the re-curing job is created, you…

  7. In XPM jobs, have the option to view all timesheet narration and time spent in the financial tab. Currently, it only shows the task and time time/cost, but not the narrations. Previous Xero product WorkflowMax had the ability to show all timesheet narration of a job in the financial tab without clicking into the Billing Work Sheet. See attachment 1 for an example.

  8. Since the creation of the new Job Manager, we are now unable to bulk add new staff members to staff allocations within a job.

    You can bulk add the jobs, but then you need to manually do the job allocations for each job

    When you have a new staff member and you want to assign them to 300 jobs, it would make it easier if we could do this in bulk rather than on a job by job basis.

  9. We wish to undertake analysis by looking for the data contained in the "TIME PRODUCTIVITY - % Billable v Non-Billable Time - Staff Summary" report on a monthly basis in a tabular format.
    Unfortunately even though this report is called a "Table Report", XPM does not allow for the year to date date range to be entered but then have the data populate in the report on a monthly basis. Such a feature would greatly enhance a practice's capability of keeping an eye on the operational data for service firms like accounting and legal practices

  14. Client Search History: being able to see the clients in XPM that you have searched for recently/previous 24hrs. When needing to go back to a client you recently searched and updated etc and need to go back into same client or cannot remember client name etc. Would have thought this would be 'standard feature' as in other progams we use

  16. It would be great to have tasks within jobs (XPM) link to Xero Blue's item codes so that when importing bulk invoices, they can be allocated to a specific task/item code. This will allow for easy reporting both in XPM/Xero Blue.

    Otherwise, it would be great to have an option to allocate a task to invoices in Xero Blue that links back to the relevant task in XPM, similarly to the way the Reference field works for jobs.

  19. Productivity Reports

    I am using report builder to create a productivity report for my staff. What i would like to show on the report is:

    Capcity reducing time + billable time + non-billable time = total time for week

    I would then like a productivity percentage calculated as billable time / (billable + non-billable).

    I would also like this report to have a YTD actual column and YTD budget column so that on one report I can see how productivity as been for the most recent week but also YTD on the on the report.

    This will then tell me…

  20. It would be helpful to merge clients in XPM where two accounts have been created (different names) and tax returns filed under each one. For example a client entered under their maiden name and married name who have filed tax returns. In our case a duplicate was accidently created when doing the return and we have no way to now shift the tax return to the correct and active client account in XPM.
