This is to assist the customer receiving a Xero invoice... Xero invoices from multiple suppliers are beginning to look very uniform, which causes difficulty in differentiating when customers receive in paper format. Perhaps the option to change the background colour, or upload a watermark design rather than just the ability to add the logo, change the font etc.3 votes -

Hubdoc - Automatically enable all currencies
At present you have to enable indvidual currencies in Xero settings to allow a purchase receipt in this currency to go through from Hubdoc. If the currency is not pre-set up in Xero then the default is that that the purchase invoice reverts to GBP which means that you then have to reset the currency in Xero. If all currencies were automatically enable for Premium subscriptions this would be avoided and would not rely on each individual currency being manually added to Xero.

NZ Tax - Alter Date format below payment schedule
when there is interest to pay and a date to calculate to is selected the wording comes up as - Assuming the return is assessed on 30/June/2023. This format should be either 30/6/2023

Xero HQ | Document portal (without e-sign)
Ability to send a document to a client through Xero portal, without requiring a signature. I use the Document Packs to send tax returns and financials to clients. It would be good to be able to use this function to send packs to clients that don't need a signature.
For example: securely sending a notice of assessment to a client through xero, or sending copies of tax returns to clients that have already signed them in person.

AU Tax - Practice wide ability to choose Default Postal Address to be Client Address
Allow a practice-wide setting to default postal address to client's postal address/main address, rather than agent address. Same applies to phone number and e-mail address.
I'll admit I'm brand new to Xero Tax, but the returns I have created so far default to Agent Postal Address, whereas all of my returns always use client postal address. Instead of having to toggle/switch this for every return (and in due course no doubt missing one at some point), it would be great to have a practice wide setting. "On Tax Return forms, postal address should default to [client address]/[agent address]".

Practice Manager - Ability to archive Client Groups
Currently we are only able delete Client Groups in XPM. That means there are 'inactive' groups when the clients move on making it harder to see how many Groups you are actually working with.
It would be great to be able to Archive instead. This would keep the Group Count 'clean' and you can still report on Groups

AU Tax - IF fields in Cover Letters
Would like the option to input IF fields into our tax returns like we can in Activity Statements. I have found I have so much more scope in editing my cover letters by putting in IF fields (eg IF the amount is payable, put in the line about the payment details. IF the due date is already past, replace the date with 'As soon as possible' etc)
It would be great in general to see more functionality in the cover letters - especially more merge field options, IF fields, and other extra lines depending on certain criteria within the return…2 votes -

AU Tax - Exclude Client's Bank details and DOB when sending lodged return
Outside organisations are requesting copies of Tax returns and we don't want to show Client's bank account details and date of birth on the Lodged Tax Returns when sending via Xero electronically.
Clients of ours firm are concerned with identity theft. If this could be implemented it would be a great feature.
This affects Xero Tax and Xero Practice Manager.

The ability to customer the Totals line of the Annual Reports so that they have the top line and Bottom Double line along with the figures having a $ sign. It doesn't right to just have the figure without the finishing touches.

XPM - Automatic birthday messages for clients
Currently XPM does not send automatic birthday messages to clients. It is a very manual process.
