Xero Tax (UK) | Prepare Accounts for Dissolved Company
If a company is dissolved Companies House reports back that there are no year end date outstanding. But there are circumstances when you need to prepare axcounts for a dissolved company - for instance if you need to get the company re-instated. But Xero prevents you from progressing. All you would need to do is enter a year end date manually and you would be able to continue.

Xero Tax (UK) | Structured Buildings Allowance annual rollover
I am frustrated that this has be added as "an idea" because it is clearly basic functionality. The structured buildings allowance doesn't roll forward each year and as such for the next 33 years I will need to re add the lines from 2023 and manually calculate the bought forwards. Not cool and in fact I will be looking for alternative software.

Workpapers - Bolder highlight for PDF attachments
Workpapers - Preview Attachment Highlighting faded
When previewing a workpaper rather than downloading if you have highlighted using pdf manager this doesnt show that bright. Need to fix as this is hard for a review to know what the team member has highlight.1 vote -

Practice Manger - revert back to the old staff format
Please revert the staff page back to the old format.
What used to be able to be accessed all on one page, you now have to click through on to 10 different pages to access the same information, and then this involves scrolling through so much wasted "white space" as well.
Why are you insisting on pushing through with these changes to your programs which actually make more work for the people that use them.
And the consistent change to spread everything out so that you constantly have to scroll and scroll and scoll - why. Your need for so…

Xero HQ | Clients - View clients that need to file GST
Bring back Xero HQ Activity tab. It was the only place you can see which of your clients GST Returns still needed to be filed.
You cant even generate a report for this in myIR Intermediary.

Workpapers - Add 'Go to Query' link for internal and review queries
Under the Queries tab, Internal Queries and Review queries should contain a link to where the query was posted, so reviewer/prepared, can be taken to the specific item - Eg. Preparer makes note for income item under A5 - Analytical Review, Link should be enabled so Reviewer can be directed to query sitting under A5 - Analytical Review.

XPM - Users to view their own timesheets under Business Menu without having visibility of other users
Request ability for individual users to view their own time recorded under Business Menu without having visibility of all other practice users. There are custom reports you can build to report on time recording but the problem is you can't easily see the total time recorded per day for each staff member for the previous or current week, to check for any gaps. It's not ideal for monitoring time recording, whereas the view under Timesheets in the Business menu is much easier to see at a glance if any days are blank or short in time. However, it is not…

Ability to report on all fields in XPM. Example, Fee from Refund. Odd to have fields available that no way can be used in any reports or export of data.

Please indicate on the attached page which staff are currently working. This would help with seasonal practices to turn on and off staff without having to open each record.

Workpapers - Rearrange support documents in workpaper
Support documents uploaded to a workpaper are listed at the bottom of a workpaper in the order they are uploaded in, it would be a handy feature to be able to reorganise uploaded documents as needed for ease of review and keeping items in say account or alphabetical order.

Practice Manager - Change the issue date for invoices
It would be great to have the ability to change the issue date for draft invoices created in Practice Manager. The only way to do this is to delete the invoice and re-create it which can be very time consuming. The Due date can stay as the company's default, and update according to the new issue date.

Job Manager: Repeating Tasks
Would be very helpful to have repeating tasks within a job. For example, if doing work for a client over the financial year there are a list of tasks every month. There is no effective solution when there are different staff assigned to different task within the client job. Repeating tasks with staff assigned for the year would allow you to keep track of what has been done & what still needs to be done for each month. (Monthly checklist for July, Aug, Sept,...)
Currently the only solution is to have a set of tasks and un-tick these each month.…

Xero Tax - Column to show who owns the tax return
Would love to have the ability to add columns in the Tax Return tabs such as Partner or Manager so you can see who owns the return without having to open the return or go into the client.

Hubdoc - Extract & compare bank account information from invoice documents
I would like to request that HubDoc extract bank account and GST Numbers from uploaded invoices and compare the information to the information stored in the contact in formation in Xero.
Suppliers provide us with their bank account information on each invoice for payment, I'd like to make sure we know if they change their bank account information.

Hubdoc - Purchase Order Field Extracted to Transaction Detail Window
I believe it would be of great help to extract the Purchase Order code from the invoice into hubdoc.
It is very important to create a simple path from the begging of creating a purchase order to finally paying for the product or service and having a way to connect it all together, I believe the purchase order number is a vital part of the process and can be referenced throughout the whole process.
Would be great to hear some feedback on this idea!
