  1. It would be great if XPM tax would remove these payment notices for clients where we are no longer filing tax returns for them. Currently they are created as nil payment notices and clutter up an already very busy tax payment system.

  3. Right now it's not possible to connect XPM to a google drive other than 'My Drive' for a Google Drive user. We hold all our client data on a separate Google workspace drive that is shared within the company and want to connect this client drive, so that tasks and clients on XPM can be linked to client folders or documents in the shared client google drive.

    Its not feasible to move those client folders from the shared drive to 'My Drive' in order to access these on Xero practice Manager, and instead we have to paste long link addresses…

  4. New Job Manager Budget % - base on $ not time.
    Please give us the option to set the budget % based on the fee not time.

    As our jobs are created though the Ignition integration, our fee budget $ is prefilled. We don't set the time budget as this would be a very manual process.

  5. There is the option of adding Groups as a taxable group, however if the option is not selected client members of that group still pull through as related parties when adding a new return. The ability to use multiple Groups would be a great driver for "advisory" automations in 3rd party software if it didn't have that adverse outcome. Enhancement request - adding a tax return the related clients should only pull through members of the taxable group and exclude members of the "advisory" group.

  7. When will we have an option to update all client emails/phone numbers at the same time?
    It would be really helpful if the system would search for all 'same' emails or phone numbers and allow for these all to be updated/amended.

  8. Can we please customise client page on XPM to add EMAIL.. We currently see the Client NAME, PH NUMBER, and ADDRESS. Can we please add EMAIL to the page?
    It would cut out alot time opening each page if we had some flexibility to simply add the email address column on the first page.

When working on Shareholder Current Accounts - How can we make 'Shareholder' retain the new titles we give them eg Shareholder 1 - J Bloggs Shareholder 2 -T Bloggs each year we open up a new workpaper we have to key in the titles all over again. We use the 'Trial Balance - Edit' There may be a place we can go to to make the titles retain and would love to know how. If not perhaps something your team could work on.

  13. User & Approval - Having a user that can upload documents & code them. Save the changes but not publish to Xero. Bookkeeper can then check the coding is correct before publishing to Xero or having a approval process where the document is sent to be approved before publishing to Xero, and this would work for purchase orders, invoices & receipts

Xero tax software needs to be amended so that a provisional tax payment requested based on the previous year plus 10% shows up as the first installment of provisional tax due in the xero tax return even though the client hasn't made the payment but is required to have paid by the 1st provisional tax date. At present shows as 0.00 which is incorrect based on the inland revenue rules. So at present have to copy the tax return to a pdf export to word and then manually amended the tax return to show the correct tax payment that was…

  15. when the cost was initially onboarded in XPM, the costing was not properly setup. Upon turnover to me, I noticed it automatically when exporting reports that the cost don't have figures on it. Upon updating the staff cost (manually PER EMPLOYEE profile), it still won't reflect in the previous periods prior to the input of the staff cost.

  16. Would be great if we could sort by staff in the WIP Ledger reports. We can select staff it in the fields but not criteria. Would be good to provide reports to managers for their staff only.
