  1. It would be great to show the lock dates from each client's Xero file in HQ. Visually, it would be very similar to the Year End column, and likely not enabled by default.

    This would allow Advisors to easily identify clients that don't have prior periods locked, and then go into those files and correct it. This would increase usage of this important data protection feature and reduce errors caused by inadvertent prior period adjustments.

  2. Currently you cannot submit a purchase order in Hubdoc, there is no "publish as" option.
    It would be good if it was an option and have it flow/link with purchase orders in Xero, to which then can flow into Approvalmax to be approved.
    Currently it requires an employee to access another system which would be good to limit.

  3. Need to have the ability to add prospect relationships - currently if both spouses are added as prospects, you can't then link them as spouses in the relationships section. However, if one spouse is already a client then you can link the prospect as a relationship... this seems like an oversight in the platform. Need to be able to link prospects as spouses/family etc.

  5. Edit Jobs Screen Filters: In the XPM jobs screen it is possible to created and save filters. However it is not currently possible to edit those filters, only clear them and start again. Please provide the functionality to edit existing filters. Thanks in advance, Petra.

  8. Can the Directors, Shareholders and Shares held, beneficiaries, Trustees etc in XPM be available to import into the Financial Statements template so it can stop you having to create custom fields with this information to report on?

  9. Xero currently defaults to print/show TFNs on 2017 or older returns (eg Show TFN ticked). However it defaults to NOT print/show on 2018 - 2023 returns. We have been told this is something we cannot change in our settings, it would be a much safer option if we were able to control this setting, or at least have it all operating the same way.

  10. We are in the process of organizing our client list for Audit Shield and like many other accounting firms we need to assign our clients a Turnover category. Currently Xero informs me there is no report I can run that will list the clients and their turnover for me to easily identify which category to assign to the client for audit purposes.

    A report that shows the client, their income/turnover and the possibility to group and total buy the Client Group would be amazing and save so much unnecessary admin time.

  11. For Practise Accounts
    have one section for internal notes on the client that can be updated
    - Files can be attached but not updated
    - Notes in a Report Text Box are only specific to that report
    Need a permanent place that I can add notes, instructions, updates to my staff dealing with a client

  12. There should be the option to show the tax estimate (i.e.: calculation page) for companies on the front page of the tax return instead of being buried within the body of the report.

    For a lot of clients the first page is what they are really interested in (calculation of tax payble/refundable).

    Having the flexibility of being able to change page ordering within Xero Tax without having to do it manually would be helpful.

  13. Xero HQ - Business Client Dashboard

    I would like a section in Xero HQ to see key metrics across my business clients in the form of a dashboard screen.

    The data displayed should be almost like an 'early warning system' for practice linked business clients that are falling behind on:

    • Administration (Bank rec transactions, unlodged payruns/bas forms)
    • Business performance is suffering (Significant decrease in quarterly sales, High 90 day+ debtors)
    • Accounts hit certain thresholds set at a client level (Bank account overdrawn, GST/PAYG/Super Liabilities over a certain threshold)

    This could also be used to spot client performing really well too.

    Appreciate the idea and detail you've shared on the needs here, everyone.

    As many of your will know - we're developing a more unified client sync, and you can read some of the changes on our Blog

    The idea here is intriguing and we'll track the interest of this through the thread here, however this isn't something we're planning to work on at present. We will share if there's any change with you here.

  14. It would be incredibly useful if there was the ability to create folders in HUBDOC to file published documents. This would make it easier to find any documents for the future as at present they are just in one longs list. For someone who heavily uses HUBDOC this list is never ending and almost impossibly to find documents that were uploaded historically.

  15. Dropbox integration needs to include business Dropbox accounts. HubDoc is used by Businesses so it would make sense for the integration to be with Dropbox business. Currently only works with Personal Accounts.

  16. There is no option to export a group of clients appearing on the screen. We have different managers managing different groups of xero clients and they need to see this rather than export the whole client list and having to sort on excel

  17. Currently when copying a job then the costs and milestones are automatically copied as well. It would be great to be given the option to copy these or not. Most of the time we do not want to copy these specifically the costs

Would be great for team members to be able to enter timesheet credits for flexitime hours over their standard daily hours, without having to enable the Financial privileges option in Staff settings (as this then provides visibility to all timesheets, ability to lock/unlock timesheets, ability to enter time for other team members, along with various practice financial report features etc).

  19. When giving a client access to their Xero file for the client to be able to add codes to the chart you need to give the client advisor access - Maybe the access to the chart of accounts should be added to the cashbook client as a tick box option (like manage users is in the adviser access)

  20. I have two situations where the billing in the financial part of the system was being charged by staff rate instead of by task rate. I am not sure why this occurred - possibly human error. So I created new jobs and tried to move the paid progress invoices to the new jobs but it isn't possible. Is there any way that we can move invoices in XPM from one job to another?
