  2. Simplified view of outstanding receipts that need to be processed to the accounting software ie numbers reflected in the top tabs.
    Currently it is hard to get a quick view of what needs to be accomplished in hubdoc and what has already been done.

  3. Delete Multiple Jobs. When you want to cancel/delete a job, you have to do this one by one. This is okay but if you have like 30 BAS jobs from x client, it is a pain to delete one by one.

  4. Some of the field labels in a report don't match the field in the profile, which can cause confusion, incorrect reports and more time spent on building reports than needed.

    For example, on a client profile, we have the 'Partner' and 'Manager', however, when trying to report on these fields, they are called 'Account Manager' and 'Job Manager'.

    It would make reporting easier if all labels/titles matched or at least referred to them, e.g. Account Manager (Partner).

  5. The option to have a draft automatically created when a recurring job is generated. Such as for GST and AIM.
    It would be very helpful by saving time and assist us in making sure they are all filed.

  6. It would be useful to have two dates for recurring jobs - one on which the recurring job is generated and a second date for when the work is to be started. We like to have all of our annual jobs generate on 1 April so we can easily see what work is outstanding for the year, received or not, but we obviously can't start everything in April. The planning aspects of XPM would be more useful if we could set the jobs to generate on 1 April then input a start date of when we are likely to start…

  7. I am wanting to run a weekly report which lists any lodged returns that have been ticked as Final Returns in the return itself. This will then trigger a set of tasks to wind up the client (ie ASIC deregistrations etc).

  9. Would love to be able to re-arrange line items in Tax Returns as we have everything listed in alphabetical order. In HandiSoft, we could click and drag lines.

    Example situation:

    Shares in 2020
    BOQ
    CBA
    WBC

    Shares in 2021
    ANZ
    BOQ
    CBA
    WBC

    To add in ANZ, we need to delete BOQ, CBA and WBC, add in ANZ and then re-add BOQ, CBA and WBC. Very time consuming if there are multiple lines to add.

  10. When creating a new contact in Hubdoc for Xero, it would be great if there was an option to add the contact details (address, phone, email, tax ID, bank details, etc) right then. Hubdoc could read the information from the invoice and populate it on the spot rather than my having to remember who I added on the fly, go find the information again, and then manually type it all in myself.

  11. We have access to costs locked down so most staff cannot edit entered costs. However it would be useful if they could tick or untick the billable option that determines whether the cost appears on the invoice or is absorbed.

  13. Please add a section in the accounts note for a breakdown of the share capital - number of shares allotted and number of called up share capital which has been paid / place to add notes about the share capital.

    Also there should be an option for amortisation rate anaylsis (same as the fixed assets depreciation anaylsis).

  14. I have 19 rental properties with 19 separate AT&T internet bills monthly. There needs to be a method within Hubdoc to automate publishing each receipt to a uniqueTracking Category each month. Right now it is all manual and very time consuming.

  15. This is to do with Custom Reports and should be little effort for a good result.

    I note that after discussions with Xero the [Tax Return AU] Not Started Returns field is only available in the Client Returns report. It would be great to have [Tax Return AU] Not Started Returns in the Tax Return report area so you could generate a report on which returns have been started, in addition to the current status of the ones that have been started (ie Draft, Complete, Lodged) at the moment we can only see if a tax return has been created…

  16. If a company is dissolved Companies House reports back that there are no year end date outstanding. But there are circumstances when you need to prepare axcounts for a dissolved company - for instance if you need to get the company re-instated. But Xero prevents you from progressing. All you would need to do is enter a year end date manually and you would be able to continue.

  18. Xero currently defaults to print/show TFNs on 2017 or older returns (eg Show TFN ticked). However it defaults to NOT print/show on 2018 - 2023 returns. We have been told this is something we cannot change in our settings, it would be a much safer option if we were able to control this setting, or at least have it all operating the same way.

  19. we use job numbers to identify the works being carried out so I entered the Job number in Contacts against the Client name but this number comes out on the invoice against the client name on the address block. It would be good to be able to have multiple jobs nos for each client so we can identify the job no. on the Customer page

  20. Xero workpaper would also show the actual file report and not just the links when exporting the workpaper. This is only available for files uploaded to the workpaper. Our practice uses FYI docs where all the relevant schedules, documents, and files are uploaded and we simply link it to Xero Workpapers. This is also helpful for practices who are using cloud storing services for documents and files.
