New Homepage - The new home page is awful
The new home page is awful - the old one was simple, I have spent ages trying to move the modules around on the page, but they wont move - I develop websites on an occasional basis and so am not technologically illiterate. I want one size of module, or at least ability to control it, and to be able to easily arrange key items in linear columns on the page. Why introduce something so user unfriendly? Please revert to the old version until you can deliver a better user experience, this is desperately bad.
Thanks so much for taking the time to share your feedback about the new Xero homepage. I’m sorry that the changes have made it harder for you to get to what you need — that’s absolutely not the experience we want for you.
The homepage changes are part of a longer-term effort to modernise Xero and create a more flexible “home base” where you can see key tasks and insights in one place and act on them quickly. This new design and architecture should let us surface more of the information and tools you rely on, and improve them more often over time.
That said, we know that when you’re busy running a business, any big change can feel disruptive — especially when you were already familiar with the previous layout. Your feedback is really important in helping our product teams understand where the new experience isn’t working as well as it should, and where we need to refine things like layout, navigation and what’s visible at a glance.
We’ve logged your comments as product feedback so they can be reviewed alongside other signals the team uses when planning future improvements to the homepage. While we can’t promise specific changes or timelines, please know your experience is being taken into account as we continue to iterate on and improve the new homepage.
Thanks again for sharing your perspective and for sticking with us while we work to make Xero better for the future. ⭐

Stopped messing with stuff...for god sake I don't need this change. No one needs this change. How much did you pay devs / AI to create that eye bleed of a front page?

It sucks. Keep things simple and stop changing. Think about Yahoo and Google. Google stayed the same, boomed. Yahoo kept changing, died.

Same trap that happened with the "new invoicing", way too much information and not neatly ordered.
There is a relationship between page entropy and the efficiency at which our brains can process information.
This page should be structured, not two columns one time and three the next. We want to do our work, and that is not arranging and re-arranging home pages. And why is there advertising on the page?
We are paying to use Xero, please contain yourselves and don't push distracting advertising on us when we are working.
As with the invoicing debacle: why break something that was not broken? -

I agree the new layout is too busy. It should allow you to delete off the parts you don't require. Not being able to just go down the page is really odd. I've moved to use the the 'Bank Accounts' tab under Accounting

As many others have said the homepage was fine the way it was. The new layout is cluttered and hard to follow (especially for us neurodiverse people). If that wasn't bad enough it is once again full of advertising.. We pay you monthly subs. It is unfair and to also force us to use adverts. It is your job to help us as businesses, not to change things for the sake of it then tell us "it's great this way" when clearly, it's not!
Please allow us to choose between the new and old layouts. If that choice isn't available in April I will find another solution.
