Reduce the number of clicks required to perform the common tasks of daily workflow, improving productivity and user experience.
It would be nice to have a column on the left reserved for users to save Favorites for their most commonly-used features, functions, reports, links, etc. Perhaps allow the user to organize the links under custom categories that are collapsible/expandable to reduce clutter.

It would be really great to be able to have a quick overview on the homepage in the bills section that highlights certain suppliers.

Include the number of billable expenses outstanding in the tasks list
It would be great if the number of billable expenses - outstanding (as per the report of the same name) could be included in the tasks widget - ie expenses to be oncharged. Currently I have to run the report to check if there are any oncharges to complete, but it would be great if I could just see the number on the list. We use this feature for almost all of the organisations we look after (20+) and it would save time and ensure we are oncharging more promptly.

Homepage - Not neurodiverse friendly
It would be great to have the option to display the widgets in list form, like the old display.
As a neurodiverse person, I work in lists. With the old version every time i logged in, i would work my way down the list of accounts, ensuring i would finish before moving onto the next. This is particularly important as we have over 10 accounts.
Currently the page feels cluttered and has no flow. I can speak for the neurodiverse community, that it is a struggle to go into the homepage and not feel overstimulated. Slow to load homepage , I can see it makes multiple requests back to the server to render the page.

I understand this helps you with server hardware , but it's infuriating !
Until all the widgets have loaded I can't click on the option I want !

profitability for tracking code
The profitability of a tracking code is very important. (Thats the point of a tracking code) Overall pnl no so much because there are a number of year end items that mean the upto date picture is not so useful.

Clearer date visability. If the feed drops out you will know instantly. Would help a lot with jobs that require multiple years imported.
Add the year to the date that is showing on the bank account widget. It gets confusing sometimes. Having 15 Feb 2026 would be easier than Feb 15.

Extreme life saver
I get a vendor's instruction tasks for unit turnovers... I'd like to copy and paste 15+ tasks list and Xero should itemized each task with a proposed material list for each one of those tasks

I always add the property address under REFERENCE... automatically the tax rate should be calculated under that address.
