Practice | Homepage - View if a clients bank feed has a connection issue
It would be useful to easily view and take action in client orgs where a bank feed has a connection issue.
It’s clear that manually checking each client organisation to see if a bank feed has dropped out can take up valuable time.
We hear you that a central view or alert on the Practice Homepage would make it easier to spot connection issues across your client base and address them before they affect month-end work.
As mentioned, surfacing this in a homepage widget would reduce the need to check individual files and make it easier to stay on top of feed status.
I’ve added this to Gaining Support so we can track interest and share with our product team how this at-a-glance visibility could improve day-to-day practice management.

In support of Sal Sannuto's comment, the starting point shouldn't so much be whether bank feed visibility is a nice feature - it should be whether a practice management platform should provide visibility of critical client exceptions across the client base.
The answer is clearly yes it should.
We already know that broken bankfeeds are a critical client exception, so the practice management platform should show it. A broken bankfeed is a genuine operational risk.
Operational information should take priority over informational insights because it directly affects the accuracy of the accounting records. If there's a choice between a widget that shows interesting trends and a widget that shows clients whose accounting records are no longer receiving transactions, the latter needs to be the first thing to do. Nothing else is meaningful if the base transactional information isn't there.

Obviously I'm biased, but i don't see how a feature like this requires Hunger Games level voting. If we have 200 clients, bank feeds get disconnected All The Time because Xero bank connections are HORRIFIC compared to QBO. It's just the trade-off we make running our practice with Xero. Even Xero customer support knows the bank connections are horrible when i talk to them. Most clients only require monthly checkups & it's crazy having to tell a client their connection has been disconnected for 25 days. Xero created an insights tab, with insights that are less useful than bank feed issues. They also added 'Bank Feed Alerts' to Partner Hub, which literally is just a copy & paste from their national outage alerts, which is useless compared to my actual clients connections. I say it every time, but I am an engineer & i know the job is thankless. But please fix this.
