Project Assignment Report at Line-Item Level
Currently, Xero provides a report that lists bills where no project has been assigned. However, this report flags any bill that contains at least one line item without a project assignment.
In many cases, not every line item on a bill needs to be charged to a project. Some line items are intentionally left without a project, while others must be assigned. Because of this, the current report includes bills that are only partially assigned, making it difficult to identify the specific line items that still require project allocation.
It would be helpful to have a report that identifies project assignments at the individual line-item level, clearly showing which line items have a project assigned and which do not. This would make it much easier to identify and complete only the line items that require project allocation.
