Gatekeeper - Compliance functionality to select what type of tax to refresh
Product idea: Selective tax type/client refresh in Gatekeeper
Currently, Gatekeeper refreshes all tax types (IRP, VAT201, EMP, etc.) for all clients on a single run, regardless of which deadline is actually due. This triggers "statement of account" notification emails to clients even when their tax type isn't due, creating unnecessary noise.
Proposed change: Allow users to manually select which tax type(s) and which client(s) to refresh, rather than forcing a full refresh across all types and clients every time.
Example: EMP is due on the 7th. There's no need to refresh IRP or VAT201 on that date, only EMP. A selective refresh would prevent statement-of-account notifications from going out to clients for tax types that aren't due, cutting down on unnecessary client emails.
