Workpapers - Post a journal without creating a draft
Manual journals have to be saved as a draft first. Then they need to be edited to be posted. This is an unnecessary step. Or if it is required, it should be role based.
We appreciate the support this idea is receiving and will continue to monitor feedback this receives for consideration in future planning.
I'll make sure to share if there's any progress for you all here.

I can see why that feature would be useful, especially for teams that want to streamline their workflow and reduce manual steps. Small process improvements can save a surprising amount of time when they're repeated across many projects. It's similar to how a cart tugger helps move multiple carts efficiently instead of handling them one at a time—eliminating unnecessary steps often leads to better productivity and smoother operations. I find this extremely frustrating, I know that I want to post the journal otherwise I wouldn't be entering it. Having to go back into the journal to post it is a waste of time. I would rather post is manually in Xero then use this function.

@Kelly - why does Xero need to get a sense of interest from others that'd also find this useful when anybody with a shred of critical thinking could know that - removing a completely unnecessary step will make the process faster and better?
