Ability to export and import quotes in Xero.

Purpose: Because putting quotes in/from a spreadsheet can make users better calculate future cash flow.

    This is a critical feature should clients be converting from an alternative software to Xero. There's no chance I or my client are sitting and entering sales orders/quotes manually (especially when there are hundreds!)

    Please develop an import quote function as it is time consuming to import invoices and 'copy to quote'. Thanks =)

    George Padilla as a work around. Import the CSV as an invoice then copy it to a quote, then you can delete the imported invoice.

    not having the ability to import quotes/estimates into XERO in an absolute deal breaker. being able to upload quotes/estimates is must and your development team needs to make this feature available immediately.

    This is absolutely a must if we are going to switch to Xero. the ability to export estimates/invoices, etc. and upload into Xero is a must.

    I would like to be able to export to Word, there are some estimates i need to add drawings, pictures and extra text boxes to quotes soemtimes

    I would like to export a quote to excel. Currently quotes do not allow subtotals and exporting the quote to excel will allow me to create subtotals manually.

    This is quite easy to get around now. Import the csv template into an invoice and then copy to a draft quote. Done! I'm not sure why they can't just add this Invoice import function to quotes but this works fine.

    I find that writing in this forum is very similar to standing on the edge of the Grand Canyon and screaming at the top of you voice hoping someone will hear you.......I honestly don't know why clicked the vote button. Xero have and always will have there own agenda, take having Credit limits available through their API. crucial info for anyone using ERP/MRP software. This been on this forum for 4 years.....not even a response.

    Regarding @StaceyKleinschmit comment, there must be the same number of people failing to join Xero because of this lack of functionality as the number not leaving Xero because of the hugeness of the task of copying and pasting data.

    I actually did pay to have all my data migrated to Xero by the hour and at a very reasonable rate.

    It cost me £2000.00

    Plainly we need this functionality. Xero works like a gold medalist sprinter until you realise it’s missing certain vital limbs…!

    Don't understand why you can import an invoice and not a quote, surely they have the same info on them ? Please Xero add this function

    Valerie's suggestion for exporting to Excel is excellent. It's a shame there is no facility to import the spreadsheet back into Xero. This is definitely something that Xero need to work on

    Hi All, Those interested to export quotes to Xero can check out EXL Cloud, which has a quotes push workbook https://www.exlcloud.io/sign-up

    Pricing starts at AUD 50 per month, allowing to push data for up to 5 Xero organisations. Any additional organisations will be billed incrementally.

    Hi, we waste too many hours entering date in XERO every month. You can import an invoice but not a quote... Please add the features so we can keep using XERO. thanks

    I have found external software Saasant that allows the importing of quotes, so i tis possible, however is another subscription we need to pay for.
