Invoice Templates - Ink saver layout option
We request that Xero creates an Ink Saver template within Xero.
We do not want to use a DocX template to achieve this as not all businesses use Microsoft.
The new invoice template that Xero has launched uses excessive bold text and a thick black line at the base of each invoice. This drains a lot of ink from printer cartridges causing an unnecessary cost to business and the environment.
An Ink saver invoice template should be built into Xero as a base option or selectable option and that would be very popular for Xero customers who:
1. Don't want to use a lot of ink
2. Don't use Microsoft word, nor want to use DocX technology

Appreciate your feedback, Chris. We're listening to feedback we're receiving about the new Invoice template editor and I wanted to highlight this other idea for having more control over the formatting of the amount due and due date fields you've noted.
I've added your vote for that too so you'll be kept updated.
For your idea here it'd be good to understand wider interest in a preset format to reduce the amount of ink used. Thanks

Feedback - your invoices need to be printer friendly. The new ones use more ink. They default to scan, use larger bold fonts. I cannot change the size or Bold. And there are thick lines in colour, even on the bottom of the page.
For customers who prefer print, this is a total waste of ink and we should be able to edit the invoice settings to accommodate.
