Support Chinese Characters in PDF Invoices, Purchase Orders and Other Documents
We have clients who work with suppliers and customers from China, and some of these companies only have their registered company names in Chinese.
Currently, when Chinese characters are used in fields such as the contact/company name, they may not display properly when the invoice, purchase order or other document is generated as a PDF.
It would be very helpful if Xero could provide full support for Chinese characters in PDF templates and generated documents.
This would allow businesses dealing with Chinese-speaking customers and suppliers to display the correct legal/company names on invoices, purchase orders and other documents without needing to use an English name or workaround.
We hope Xero can consider improving Chinese font and character support for PDF documents in a future update.
