Hi community, happy to provide an update to you all here. As some may have already started using – we’ve introduced our invoice template editor ( https://innovations.xero.com/?utm_source=sfmc&utm_medium=Pendo&utm_campaign=UR-product-q3-wrapped#branded-invoices-no-designer-au-nz-us-uk ) which is currently available to all NZ, AU, UK and US organisations and soon to be with all other regions.

Along with a slicker, smoother experience being able to customise and personalise the look of your invoices this new standard branding option has no restrictions on logo resolution or size. Hi everyone, we appreciate the interest in being able to display logos as you need. There are a few different situations mentioned in feedback here and we want to explain and help clarify how logos are shown when using Xero.

The first is how your organisations logo is shown within the invoice email sent to your customer. This is taken from the organisation settings page ( https://central.xero.com/s/article/Update-your-organisation-s-settings ). There was a period that impacted some customers where the logo quality was being reduced when sending with new invoicing. Taking on board feedback our team implemented a change in new invoicing so this should now be appearing correctly – If you’re finding your logo quality is not showing correctly in the invoice email please do raise a case with our team ( https://central.xero.com/s/article/Get-help-from-Xero-Support ) and they can investigate more on this with you individually.

The second place the logo is shown is on the PDF of the invoice ( https://central.xero.com/s/article/Add-or-adjust-logo-on-invoices-quotes?userregion=true#Fixcommonproblemswithinvoicelogos ) that is sent to your customers and is represented in the idea that has been shared here – Currently there are limitations to the dimensions of a logo that can be shown on your invoices sent from Xero. For a standard invoice template maximum dimensions for a logo are 400px wide and 120px high. You can use advanced invoice templates to add a logo of a specific size.

We’re currently focused on improvements within new invoicing, however in time we will look at possible improvements to invoice templates. While there are no plans atm, I will keep you updated of any news surrounding this here.
