UK payroll - Ability to include additional fields in Pension Contribution Report
Xero cannot current cope with companies that have more than one pension scheme. The upload I need to send to the pension provider includes payroll number, pensionable earnings for period, start date and date of birth. It would be useful if Xero had the ability to add these and additional fields if required customised in the contribution report.
Thanks for sharing your feedback on adding additional details to the Pension Contribution Report. It’s been a little while since this idea was raised, we can see it's been steadily gaining support.
To help your idea gain traction, please share it with colleagues so they can vote for it too. The comment section is also for all members to share how this feature would improve their Xero experience.

Standard life require the gross pay split between standard earnings and any other pensionable earnings, in my clients case overtime and holiday pay. This requires separate reporting / entry monthly and therefore the report has to be manually created rather than utilising a standard report and upload. Integration would be a huge advantage as my experience all of the major pension UK providers use standard tempaltes.

Also Creative expect all staff to appear on the report even if below threshdolds and opted out so these really need to be added too as I have to manually add them every month.

It would be helpful to have the Gross pay on the CSV pension file to save applying manually. This is requested by my pension provider.

Completely agree, it would be great if gross pay is included on the download to save the manual intervention when completing pension files.

Xero also doesn't populate the employer and employee amounts after opt out.
On a positive note, it is just as well that Xero doesn't automatically send files that will fail validation upon receipt by Smart Pension

Yes I agree, it would be super helpful if the Pensions Contributions report had a field for pensionable earnings. Having to find the info in the pensions filing area and add it manually adds extra time to the process.

Now that pensionable earnings must be submitted to pension providers with the filing each month, please could these figures be added to the Pension Contribution report.

I would also find it helpful if the NI number for each employee was still visible when selecting 'summarise by employee'.

It would be very helpful to include the total gross salary on the PAPDIS CSV download file as would save a lot of time having to manually enter this every month as this is a requirement for Creative Pension Trust.

Same here - there's something fundamentally wrong about having to manually manipulate this information prior to upload

Pensionable Pay total needed! Within Pension Filings of each month, you can download the report either in pdf or csv. We currently are downloading the CSV file, finding the pensionable pay column and adding the formula in to add up these figures. Please please can you show the total pensionable pay in the pdf file as this would be much easier.

I agree, we also use Creative and having to edit the Gross Pensionable pay for all employees every month means that errors can creep in to our pension reporting.

Is it possible for Xero to have a Pensions report showing pensionable earnings for each employee?
This is a report other payroll outsourcing companies provide and wondered if Xero could add this report.
Many thanks,

PAPDIS file download to include total Gross Salary and not just the Salary with the £520 not pensionable deducted and the pension provider we use (Creative) expects this in their upload. EVery month I have to edit Gross Pensionable Pay for all employees to add the £520 on the PAPDIS CSV I download.
