UK Payroll - Bring back leave dates in employee history screen
Bring back leave date function in employee history list, it made running P45s much easier when there is a team that run payroll.
Hi everyone, thanks for sharing your thoughts on the removal of the leave date column from the employee list.
There is currently another way to generate this list without needing to click into individual employee records.
You can run the Employee Contact Details report to access this data in a list format.
By running this report, you can view both Start Dates and Termination Dates side-by-side.
You can filter or sort the report giving you the overview needed to manage the team and process documentation efficiently.

Since the employee screen has been updated, the column that showed the employees leave date has been removed from the historic employees view.
This was really useful to be able to see and sort by, so you could check on who had left most recently etc.The issue is that, instead of being able to see at a glance when employees have left, (say in the last month), by just sorting by leave date, I know have to the following steps:
click into their record to see the leave date
click back onto employees list
click back into historic (because you can't just select the employee from the drop down list)
then do it all again!
