Xero Me - Ability to reconcile credit card expenses from a bank feed
It is impossible to us the credit card bankfeed function and allow for the credit card user to account for these expenses in Xero Me.
Solution: allow for credit card transactions to pull through into Xero Me via automatic sychronisation. This should provide a more streamline approach to recordinng individual company card expenditure, remove time in reconciling missing receipts and remove duplication.

Hi everyone, we wanted to provide a quick update on the idea to enable reconciliation of credit card expenses directly within Xero Me.

It would be very beneficial for our organisation, if employees could see all their credit card transactions in Xero Me. This would save significant time as the employee could easily see what expenses require coding and approval. In addition if a workflow system could be setup in Xero me that allowed employee expenses to tree up to specific approvers who may not have Xero access but are responsible for approving an employees spend.

Yes, and our staff were manually entering, but of course it is impossible if the transaction was in foreign currency, to know what the NZD equilvalent is, and of course often the supporting receipt does not capture the paywave fee. Beyond frustrating!

100% It is such a frustration for us and a manual process. You have to manually add in each line from the credit card statement ,when it would appear so easy to have the transactions already in Xero Me and then we just have to code attach receipt and approve.

We had to move to Expensify, given Xero were unable to accommodate a simple mechanism of downloading credit card expenses from the bank - exactly as they already do for transactions through any other bank account. I raised the issue whilst sitting next to Xero employee on a flight who advised Xero themselves use Expensify - unbelievable!

As an SME we have a number of people that have company credit cards and if we had the ability to import weekly credit card transactions which would appear in purchasers expenses as draft so they can complete the expense with uploading receipts/invoices and adding description/coding this would save a lot of time for me chasing people to get their credit card expenses on by month end and can be done on a weekly basis and monitored/managed more easily/efficiently.
