AU Payroll - Cap leave requests at the employee’s current leave balance (or a set advance limit)
Restrict leave requests when there is insufficient leave.
It would be really good if we could prevent employees from requesting leave they do not have, or set an acceptable amount that they are allowed go into negative hours (eg up to -5, but not more than that, or however much each workplace deems okay). At the moment an employee with 2 hours available can request 100 hours leave. With many different dept managers approving the leave, sometimes they don't look at the balance, and approve it anyway, causing the payroll manager to have to go back to both and explain that the leave request is not possible.
