AU Payroll - Add leave into pay run without creating leave request
Why cant small operators bypass the LEAVE function and approval process. If one of my workers has a sick day it would be far easier to simply adjust the payslip to 7.6 hours under the sick category and it then automatically deducts it from the leave balance. Same for holidays etc. Its quite time consuming for small operators.

I totally agree! Lots of extra steps when they could just pop it on a timesheet themselves. Even add a note to the timesheet so when they have only logged a couple hours one day they can add "I left at 2 because I was unwell/ 3 hours sick leave"

We've just started using Xero for Payroll, and this feature would be so useful. It is so time consuming to go back to the employee's profile to add or edit leave, particularly for a part sick day.

i agree its much easier for business that have a few employees to add leave as part of the payrun also an option would be to allow an employee to add any type of leave to their timesheet as the leave approval function just adds a few unnecessary steps for a small business
so an option to turn off leave approvals and allow adding to payrun and or timesheets would be good for me
