For the audit trail we need to track which user submitted the superannuation payment for authorisation either within the superannuation batch. This could be either within that superannuation batch payment, or in the History and Notes section of Xero.

It's extremely important to know who approved the batch, who marked it as paid, etc... I don't think you need to wait on this, payday super is around the corner, and I can already see users accidentally mark batches as paid.

I would just like an update (especially with auto super and payday super upon us) for there to be an audit trail in History and Notes.
If the Super approver has changed, i want an audit note stating who changed it, and what the date was and who it went from and to.
also if a super contribution is deleted, i want an audit or history even stating that the contribution was raised by XYZ person on Date and Time, and if it was deleted instead of approved, an audit note stating it was deleted by XYZ on Date and Time.

Additionally, when a super payment bounces back and it's withdrawn from a super batch and re-processed in a new batch, there is no audit trail of if/when the super payment was initially processed so you can't see the original super payment made. This makes it difficult to work out what date the bounce back amount was originally submitted and if the bounce back isn't reconciled straight away, this can potentially double up super payments.

Currently, Xero does not have the feature to determine who has made changes to a Superannuation Batch in Xero Superannuation. It would be helpful to have an Audit Trail moving forward, especially in situations where there is more than one Payroll Admin user in a file.
