  1. Ability to switch between organisations on the Xero phone app. I presently work for several businesses and upload receipts/invoices as go. I presently would need to login and out to be able to do this as I have different email accounts for some of the businesses I work for. I am told that I can only do this if I use the same email account across all clients, this is not possible with in house email accounts.

  2. I would like to be able to update my company address in Alderney. I currently have an Alderney address in Xero but I am unable to update it as Xero is not currently supporting.

  3. It would be great if the Contact Name placeholders could populate the name of the individual person receiving the email rather than just the primary person for a contact.

    ex. I have a contact name for a child with the primary person being Parent 1 and additional person being Parent 2. Would love if the Contact Name placeholders could address the email to each Parent 1 and Parent 2 independently instead of just addressing Parent 1 in both emails.

  4. I would love to see a newer updated "look" similar to what Freshbooks or Quickbooks Online has. They have a very streamlined look. I like how they have the tabs on the side that say "invoice" and "expenses" without having to go through the dropdown menus.

    Hi team, while not a solve for an updated 'look' of the dashboard we wanted to make sure everyone on this idea was aware of some of the shortcuts that can help you get around and create transactions from many screens. 

    The '+' icon next to Search in the blue banner enables you to create a range of different document types, similarly there are shortcuts that can be entered in Search from the blue navigation bar that will take you to different features such as bank accounts, the files library or reports.   5. Ability to have separate ‘Reply-to’ email addresses within the same Xero organisation.

    Purpose: Users can easily change the email address that they’d like to use when sending email from Xero, rather than having to go through settings to change it.

    Hi everyone, though there isn't any progress to share on this idea we do want to provide and update for you all and thank you for engaging with us about this here.

    We understand the desire and needs for being able to change or set a separate reply to email address when sending from your Xero organisation.

    We're continuing to make improvements to sending of invoices in Xero however at this point our roadmaps does not extend to the email settings specifically.

    This continues to be an area we're interested in diving deeper into in the long term and we'll be sure to share as soon as there's movement.

    For the time being the only way to change the Reply-to email is to update this on the email settings screen prior to sending your transaction and change it back post sending. Thanks

  6. You can upload your logo and it appears on your invoices. Great. But here is an easy win, replace the initials on the Menu drop down with the company logo too? It would just be a nice touch.

    Hey everyone, we know it can be tricky when you're managing lots of client accounts and need a way to easily tell them apart in Xero.

    Thanks for your feedback on how a visual cue, like being able to set different colours for each organisation, would help cut down on confusion and those accidental data entries.

    We've seen some of you have found workarounds, like using Chrome extensions or third-party Google add-ons for customisation. It's great to see the community finding creative ways to tackle this in the interim.

    Right now, adding this feature isn't in our immediate plans. This is something we'll continue to keep an eye on the support for and may reconsider in future planning. I'll share if there are any updates around this here.

  8. It would be great if there was some flag/notification visible on the Dashboard, to inform clients that you have raised a Discussion point on a transaction, that they need to address.

  9. On the dashboard, be able to reorder the accounts in the watchlist. At the moment they are shown by default in alphabetical order and can't be reordered.

    Hi team, we wanted to share an update as this will be possible within the new Xero Homepage!

    You'll find with the new Chart of accounts watchlist widget you'll be able to reorder by any column in the watchlist 😊

    You can currently try out the new Homepage in the demo company. I'll be back to confirm when this is live to all users. Thanks!

  10. Allow an option for the Account Watchlist to show figures on a cash basis.

    Clients are finding recent sales are not showing due to the current accrual basis of the watchlist.

  11. Can the items per page be made an updateable default on all tabs? i.e. remember my setting until I change it again. So, on the contacts page I'd like to select 200 per page and have Xero remember that preference until I change it again.

  12. When a person has more than 5 organizations in their portfolio the 'Change of Organization' drop down list only shows the most recent 5 used. It would be helpful if ALL your organizations showed on screen to choose from. Or of course, having the option to reduce to the 5 normal.

    Hi 👋 everyone, we appreciate all the feedback. We understand if you're in and out of many different client orgs each day why you'd like to be able to increase this drop down.

    We're keeping a close eye on the interest for this here and will share if there are any plans made.

  13. There seems to be a lot of white space on each page. An accounting system really needs to show concise, compact, neat lines so it is easy to compare figures without having to scroll up and down all the time. I feel that Xero is more interested in the look of the screen, when really the information is the most important part of an accounting system.

    The important information seems to start half way down the screen!

    Hi Karen, appreciate you shared this feedback sometime ago. Looping back to better understand your idea here - Is there a specific part of Xero you find shows too much white space?

    This will help when sharing your feedback with our product teams internally.

  14. It would be great if it were to be possible to apply accounting periods Period 1 , Period 2 etc even if these fall into the calendar months or fall into 4/4/5 week pattern . It would make looking at transaction reports in a pivot far easier , it would avoid having to save data , fix it with additional columns and then review constantly . This would be a game changer . All companies work to months calendar or something else yet Xero doesn't have this functionality which is crucial to analysing data and preparing month end .

  15. Please add the ability to dismiss/hide the setup guide without the need to have clicked through and used all options in the guide. Some do not apply to my organization and so there is no way to get the blue setup guide button to disappear and it gets in the way of other things on the screen.

  16. I would love for the Watched Accounts box from the website dashboard to show up on my phone app dashboard. Sometimes I just need to see a bank balance or expense balance while traveling. Currently have to go to online website to see those watched accounts on my dashboard. Would be super cool to have them on phone app dashboard as well.

    Hi Dominique, thanks again for your feedback here. Out of interest as it'll be useful detail to our product teams. What sort of information would you like to be made private if this feature was enabled, yet allow you to continue to work efficiently in your organisation.

    Being open this isn't something we have plans for developing at this time but any added information does help when the team are reviewing ideas from these forums in their planning.

  20. It would be good to have the ability to add a customer watchlist to the dashboard so that businesses can see when customers have overdue invoices or reached their credit limits so credit credit control can be improved. I personally don't like the email reminders as that doesn't work for our business model so I feel like a watchlist on the dashboard would be good.
