Every single one of the invoices in the attached screenshot has a difference reference, relating to the service being invoiced for. There's another pageful of about the same amount that was invoiced the previous day. For this particular Project, I'm invoicing for about a dozen different things (on different invoices) every week, the client wants each of those things on a separate invoice to make allocation to cost centre easier in _their_ accounts, and the fastest way to do that is to copy a bunch of the boilerplate from the previous invoice for that same thing. That would be made much easier if I could quickly identify which one to open so that I could copy bits of it!

Also when saving or printing PDFs of quotes or invoices. The system typically generates a default file name, which needs to save with a reference so you don't have to manually rename the files after saving.

Absolutely its a must have

Projects - Quotes & invoices list view - Include Reference field from quote or Invoice. Currently, the Quotes & invoices live view only shows the quote or invoice number, so getting any information requires 'Opening' the quote or invoice.
Including the Reference field will provide more information when using this list window without having to click into the document. There is ample space on the existing list to add this information.

Basic need, must have, etc.
