Payroll UK: Assign project hours to multiple jobs ot expenses
It would be useful to be able to set up employees with an hourly rate so that a cost can be assigned against a project when they record their time.
From what I understand, is not possible to do this at the moment and projects do not show the true cost.
Maybe there is a way to integrate this with time recording on payroll?

You can already do this in Xero by using Xero Payroll.
It is currently possible to assign job tracking to payroll by using Timesheets to add that extra layer of detail. Alternatively, you can use multiple pay items assigned to specific expense accounts that correspond with your tracking categories.
