Staff - Ability to request access to Clients from admin
It would be handy for a Staff member to be able to send a request to a Practice admin to access a Client when needed.
6 votesHi community, we've started this request to gauge specific interest in enabling staff to request access to a Client within the unified experience.
Stemming from this original idea, this isn't something we have direct plans of at this time, but our product teams are staying close to the ground on what our practices would like to see developed and will consider this in future planning. 🙏

Staff - Provide temporary access to Client
It'd be helpful in some cases to provide a Staff member temporary access to a Client.
There can be situations where a staff may only need access for a day or month and being able to set a timeframe for this and then access be removed would be helpful.4 votesHi team, this idea has been created off the back of this idea to get a good understanding of the interest in specifically providing temporary Client access to a staff member.
While this isn't somethign we have planned atm, our product team would like to get insight to consider in future planning. Thanks!

Practice tools | Staff - Ability to assign clients when inviting staff
Previously in Xero HQ you could invite a new staff member and immediately assign clients to them - This was efficient. Now the staff member has to accept the invite first before any clients can be assigned.
5 votesWe understand this is a feature practices may like to see. We'd like to get a gauge interest from beta participants that'd find this feature useful - Add your vote, share importance and any comments to share extra detail of how this would help your practice.

Staff - Notify staff member of access level change
When adding a staff member to a client Xero file with advisor access, previously I was able to notify the staff member. That wasn't an option which meant I needed to go and manually tell the team member that I've added them.
I like being able to choose if I want to notify them or not because if it's something holding up workflow I want them to know so they can continue working but if I'm just adding them to the team they'll expect to have access so I won't want to notify them in that scenario.
1 voteAppreciate your feedback on the beta experience, Sarah. We'll start to get a sense of the interest from the idea here and I'll be sure to share if there are any updates planned for notification of permission changes.
