Hi Jake, thanks for sharing this idea. We can see why having the ability to split PDF files directly within Xero Files could be useful, particularly when processing multi-page documents that contain multiple invoices, receipts, or other records. Being able to separate pages without downloading the file and using an external tool could help reduce manual handling and make document processing more efficient.

Many clients upload multi-page scanned documents (e.g., invoices or receipts) into Xero Files. Currently, there is no way to split a multi-page document within Xero Files to create separate Spend Money transactions for different suppliers or purposes. This requires extra steps outside of Xero, such as splitting PDFs using third-party tools, which is time-consuming and inconvenient.
It would be extremely helpful if Xero allowed users to split multi-page files directly within the Files library and attach individual pages to separate transactions. This would streamline workflow, reduce errors, and improve efficiency for users who regularly process bulk uploads.

Drag and drop or Upload via email - the ability to have one file that is made up of multiple bills be split out by Xero as part of the upload process - like we had similar in Hubdoc.
