  2. We have dealt with a few VAT inspections recently and HMRC request all invoices in relation to the VAT report. We have had to download each invoice individually and rename to match the references posted on Xero which has been extremely time consuming. It would be great if all invoices could be downloaded in bulk as per each VAT report and each invoice referenced to match the VAT report.

  3. It would be great for Reports and Custom Reports to have the ability to include a "Last year to Date" Colum. This would improve the ability to compare how the client is progressing Year on Year.

  4. Xero is giving 4 months free of Analytics Plus if the file is upgraded before 30 June 2023.

    It would be AWESOME if you would add Analytics Plus to the Demo Company so we could demonstrate the product to team members and to clients.

    Expenses is available in the Demo Company, so is Projects, why not Hubdoc and Analytics Plus?

    Please make the Demo Company have the FULL suite of Xero products available.

  5. We are in the process of organizing our client list for Audit Shield and like many other accounting firms we need to assign our clients a Turnover category. Currently Xero informs me there is no report I can run that will list the clients and their turnover for me to easily identify which category to assign to the client for audit purposes.

    A report that shows the client, their income/turnover and the possibility to group and total buy the Client Group would be amazing and save so much unnecessary admin time.

  7. Custom Reports
    The formula feature only appears to work for columns that are located to the left of the formula column.
    Each column has a name, surely the name is the important element and not the position of the column on the report.
    Can the formula feature be amended so that columns from anywhere in the report can be included

  8. When selecting a published report to copy for the next period, it would be ideal if there was a copy and edit option in the shortcut options. This would allow users to create a copy of the report from the main menu instead of being required to open the report and then selecting the option.

  9. It will be really great from the Aged Receivables Reports to be able to send Statements to Customers without having to leave the page and come back to it.

    A flag, on the Aged Receivables Reports, of when last a statement was sent will also be very useful.

  10. It would be very useful to include on the General Ledger Detailed Report the VAT Rate instead of or as well as the VAT %. Then it would be possible to identify items that should be included in box 6 of the VAT return that have been entered with a No VAT code.

  11. Cost analysis by group type, e.g. we have a group for DD suppliers. It would be useful to analyse how much we spend by group over a set period. We are looking at setting up other groups soon so this would be very helpful.

  12. It would be really helpful if you can add more filters in the Project Summary reports, e.g.. a date range for "Closed Date" so we can report on Projects completed in a specific month. At the moment the date range is based on time entries only.

  13. In the Director's Declaration, it would be great if the report could recognise if there is a single Director or multiple, and then update the wording accordingly. (eg "The Directors have determined" or "The Director has determined".)

  15. Accepted Quote Report

    Great to see that we can now look at a report for accepted quotes but the report is not filterable by the accepted date - please can this be added to the date search for quote reports within Quotes through Receivable Invoice Details and Summary reports.
    At the moment the report isn't right as you can only search by due date and created date which is no good - the accepted date needs to be a searchable date or the quote filtered by accepted quotes is useless if you ant to see what quotes have been accepted…

  16. Can you please add balances to the edit layout function so we can see what we are mapping or where things have automapped? I often need to open the financials in a separate tab while editing the layout because I can't see the balances and it would be nice if I didn't have to do that.

  17. The profit and loss report has an option to put in the budgeted figures when you edit the layout. Can this option also be introduced to the Cash summary report please. Some of my fruit farmers love to see that figures as well compared to the actual figures.

  18. Transactions posted after a period end affecting prior periods

    Lock dates had not been set and as a result, there has been a few entries in to the last financial year.
    How can I locate these entries?

    I have tried a transaction report, but there are no parameters that I could enter.
    Ideally.

    Example -
    Our year end is 31st August.
    I would like a report that looks for transactions entered between dates 1/4/22 - 21/9/22 that have a transaction date up to 31.8.21 (last year end)

    Hi Kellie, you might find History & notes useful for getting the insight you're after here. 

    Though it's not possible to filter by the transaction date - You can set a date range like you've mentioned to view activity that has occurred post your orgs year end and ability to filter by Item types so you just view the item types you're interested in.

  19. A aged report that will show the year end balance but can also update this to remove for payments that have been made/received post year end (something that can be done on Sage and is a very useful tool)

  20. To be able to view at a glance the 'period taken from a customer to pay invoices' from the Due Date to when the funds have reached the supplier's bank account. This is instead of exporting the Xero report in an excel sheet and then adding a formula to calculate the difference between the two dates. Surely with all the information already stored in the Xero account, this option shouldn't be too difficult to add. Thank you.
