Bills - Filter and view bills by tracking category
The ability to filter bills to pay by tracking category and select invoices for batch payments by tracking category to enable businesses with multiple locations/businesses within the one Xero account to manage, approve and pay bills based on the location/business the bill is applicable to.

This idea is exactly the same as we need. The ability to filter bills to pay by tracking category and select invoices for batch payments by tracking category will make Xero more user friendly and it's not hard to realize this function!

Can we please have a filter added to "Inventory Item Summary" reports where we can filter "tracking categories"
We use Tracking categories to track customer type (wholesale. Retail, Corporate and more) to categorise the sale types so we can analyse the product types, quantities and value of orders, allowing us to have a clear understanding of how our business runs. It saves having multiple account types for every type of sku. -

We have multiple sites but we can't filter unpaid bills or bank transactions by tracking categories, which we means we have to sift through hundreds of bills to reconcile/make batch payments.

We us divisions on all bills which determines which bank account they are paid from, it would be so useful to be able to filter by division in the purchases - awaiting payment screen, and also be able to add the column "division" when scheduling.

Allow us to filter through bills based on ticking/unticking certain contacts/suppliers. Why not add it if you can already use a search bar, this would make things much easier. As well as also filtering by tracking categories.

In the Bills screen under column options can you please add Jobs/Tracking so that I don't have to open a bill to see what job it is for?

It would be really helpful for users to add a column to see each bill with their tracking category.
As it stands , each time i am looking which bill i want to pay for diff suppliers, I have to check each invoice for their category.
I have worked around this by entering a tracking code next to the invoice number so i can view this easily. It has resulted that sometimes an invoice has been entered twice as the category code was entered with a space or - after invoice number... so the system doesn't pick up duplicated invoices.This would be really helpful. Thanks

How about adding a column for Department or Project for quick glimpse so you do not need to open the bill to see the department?

Addition of an additional filter when creating a multiple invoice batch.
At the moment when I am creating a batch I am given 4 pages of up to 600 invoices to chose from, but I only need to select 30 - from those 4 pages.
This is after having used the transaction date, plus invoices per page to filter. All our invoices have a tracking category for the job it releates.
How wonderful would it be to be albe to use a filter for a tracking category that would reduce the number of available invoices to select for my batch from 600 to only the 30 I require? Placing them all on the one page.
This functionality would speed up the payment process imeasureably. -

Yes totally agree. I had logged a request for a proper field chooser on the menu layouts most often used: Bills, Invoices and Contact Activity list. I guess my request was too general, but different companies have different needs. I had mentioned Net Total before VAT, but forgot to mention Tracking Option, vital for us.
Bills does have a column chooser but is limited and nothing useful for us.
Even Outlook has a field chooser to select what columns to display for emails, Xero needs to do this.

It is absolutely essential to have the ability to filter by category. Currently I have to individually sort through over a hundred entries every quarter to separate categories for different batch payments. This is so inefficient and labour intensive it doesn't make sense. The whole reason I switched to Xero was for ease of use.

This is vital for a company that has many projects with many owners. The current work-around to show Projects in the 'Bills to Pay' interface page is a manual nightmare.

We have the head office paying bills for different venues, so the ability to filter bills Awaiting Payment with a tracking category would be beneficial. Currently need to have two windows open and manually select invoices to create a batch payment.
