Xero Certification - Suggestion to reduce or remove the 24-hour lockout period
24 HOUR LOCK WHEN CERTIFICATION TEST "FAILS" NEEDS REMOVED IMMEDIATELY.
We have a trainee going through his Xero certification. He timed out the first test. He is now locked out for 24 hours.
We can't have him spending weeks doing this.
LOCK NEEDS REMOVED IMMEDIATELY
3 votesHi team, we appreciate the feedback however want to be upfront here that we don't have any plans on removing the 24 hours lock off period - This 24 hour cooling off period is designed to give a user time to visit the learning needed to close any skills gap.
Certifications is a test of a users ability to carry out tasks in Xero accurately.
We generally recommend completing the full learning course first as it covers everything a user needs to know to pass.
The direct assessment route is really for those that have been certified before. You use Xero daily and have all the skills, and are just needing to get certified.

Subscriber change over
The subscriber has left the business. I have access but cannot invite support to the ticket. I need to change the subscriber to me. I am the new Director. Please contact me
3 votesHi Paul
It looks like you contacted our support team on this one, from which a case was raised and assisted on by our specialists.
As a result, I've changed the idea status to 'Not in pipeline', as it doesn't look like it's an idea that you have suggested.
However, feel free to submit your ideas or feedback on our product ideas page!
Kind regards,
Ridhwaan

integration with propertyme.com.au & propertytree.com
Integration with propertytree.com & propertyme.com.au for P&L
1 voteSorry we've note responded to your idea here sooner, John. We don't typically build integrations with other applications ourselves. Instead we have a developer centre where interested parties can come to get information and collaborate if they are interested in integrating with Xero. If not already I'd recommend seeing if this is something Property tree would be interested in developing from their end. You can share our developer platform here.

Xero for personal use
My main business uses a Xero subscription moderated by a by a book-keeper.
Is there are means to add personal non-business expense bank feeds into Xero under the same licence so they can be separately and privately monitored?
28 votesHi everyone, we appreciate the feedback we've received from customers that would like to use Xero to manage their own personal finances.
We want to be open that we don't have plans for developing a specific product for personal use - However, if you'd like to use a Xero business organisation for monitoring your personal finances, you could follow this process for getting set up:
- Set up your 'personal finances' organisation.
- Edit the Chart of Accounts, adding accounts that you would like to use (eg Salary & Wages, Groceries, Insurance Expense), and delete any unnecessary accounts.
- Add your personal bank accounts and import your bank transactions.
You could then use Tracking to create Categories like Income & Expenditure Goals and add the items that you'd like to track, as options within the related category.
The Tracking Summary Report will give you an overview of these 'goals'.
