    Hi everyone 🤚 thanks for the idea and support. I thought I'd pop in here to share that it can be possible to have your tracking options show in the Xero Me mobile app when approving timesheets. However to do this you'll need to choose the Total hours worked timesheet setting (instead of the Start & end hours option). Appreciate that this may not be suitable in all our customer's workflows, so we'll continue to monitor interest in this idea.

    Great idea. The delay can be critical as the clients are notified of the amounts to pay. When payslips are sent before the payment is made the employees expect the payment has already been made. Also, they can be scheduled so they do not hit the employee's mailbox in the middle of the night when we sometimes run pays.

    Currently we have to type in the allocated amount into each credit note individually which can be very time consuming. Allow us to use tick boxes to allocate the total of the credit and have a SELECT ALL box at the top.

    Hi Leah, when you've closed/completed a project it is still possible to add Bills and new Expense tasks to it. 

    From the bill you'll be able to look up and assign lines of your Bill, or within the project you can simply add an expense. The only transactions you can no longer add once closed are Billable expenses, Spend monies and time entries. 

    Is there a specific reason you need to enter the expense as one of these type of items?

    We require a Client Permission. All features of Standard but only access to their Project. Other job management systems already offer this. As many builders do cost-plus work this is critical for the client to be able to see the costs and bills.

    Hi community, we appreciate this idea has collected a fair amount of votes and commentary. This has all been shared with, and considered by, our product team - so they have an understanding of the work that would be required for this.

    We'd like to confirm that, at this stage, the automatic generation and sending of reports is not something we have plans to develop in the near term. We are still interested to get a clearer understanding of demand for this feature, and we'll continue to track this through the conversation and votes on this idea. If there's any change we will let you know!

    Each month we publish the bank reconciliation report and it appears under the Published tab. We add the last 4 digits of the account number to show which account was published. It would be great if this could populate automatically to save opening every report.

    Hello everyone, appreciate all your feedback here. To be upfront, we don’t have any plans to develop the ability to reconcile clearing, control and non-bank accounts in the near future. 


    Some of the technology improvements going on across Xero will create more opportunities for us to explore extending some of the more complex functionality from one part of Xero to another. However, we are some way off from this yet. 


    That being said, there is the Account transaction report that could be handy in providing a view of both sides of a transaction in Xero. You can include the related account as a column in the report - See more in our help article on this.

    Alternatively, if you’re using an external system, you could look into the Xero App store
