Aah I see what you mean now, and appreciate you sharing more detail, Anna.
In terms of the original idea, you can reply directly to the email update you received about the status if there is extra detail you'd like to share with the team - In this case I've merged your original idea with this one to keep the information all together.
We don't have immediate plans for this, but will keep considering how we improve their efficiency when engaging and sharing feedback. We'll track the support here and share if there are any updates. Thanks

Hi team, we appreciate the interest for this idea and improvoing the product ideas forums for your use.
As noted in my last response currently when logged into Xero Product ideas there is the option to go to Settings & activity from your initials in the top right of the screen Within this page you select the option to 'Export my data'. This'll email you a few files, one of which is a CSV of all the ideas you've started and the URL to be able to view these online.
We appreciate wanting a simpler in product view of this and will continue to consider how we could solve for this as we develop this space. I'll share if there is any progress here.

Thanks for your feedback on this change, Patricia. Out of interest is there a particular reason or workflow for why you prefer to enter your bills manually rather than via an upload?
Appreciate, will take a little getting used to a different flow. A couple of other options for navigating to the new bill screen could also be;
- Using the keyboard shortcuts (Alt+Shift+N) from the bills screen
- Using the '+' icon in the navigation header to quickly Create a new Bill from any screen
- Using '/' and typing 'b' in the global search where you'll get the option of New bill from any screen
While we'll get a sense of interest in this through your idea, we want to be open that there aren't any plans for changing this back.

It would be good to clarify here - when you say you'd like to search Unreconciled transactions, would you be wanting to do this across all banks at once, or within each bank widget?
We don't have any plans around this right now, but are continuing to track the interest here.

Appreciate hearing your feedback on this here, Tania. I can assure you our teams did a lot of testing with all aspects of the homepage prior to it's rollout however we totally understand there are different views of what information would be most valuable, where. This is exactly the type of thing we're keen to hear and understand the appetite of through product ideas.
Just to confirm for everyone coming across this idea - While slightly changed in terms of placement it's possible to view Drafts for Invoices and Bills in their related Invoices owed to you, or Bills to pay widgets.
This is now found beneath the graph where you can click the 'x' drafts text to go straight to the list of draft invoices (or bills) - see image
We don't have any immediate plans for changing the placement of the Drafts link within the Invoices owed to…

We know many of you asked for widget borders to help separate information. As a first step, we’ve subtly darkened the homepage background to increase contrast and make the widget boundaries clearer.

Hi everyone, we appreciate and want to thank everyone for feedback on the responsiveness of the new Homepage. This has been shared back with our product teams as they continue to develop this experience.
At this stage, there are no plans to fix the number of columns when using the Homepage. However, our team will continue to monitor usage on this closely.
One recent change we’ve introduced is that the Homepage layout can be saved at each screen size.
For example, if you set up and save the Homepage layout for your laptop and then move to a larger monitor you’ll see this adapt. However, if you ‘edit’ the Homepage and save the layout separately from your monitor Xero will remember the layout for each screen size. You should only need to do this once for each screen you use.

Hi everyone, we thoroughly appreciate the feedback we've been receiving about the sizing of widgets and desire for more flexibility with these.
Our product teams are currently working on updates to allow resizing of more of the widgets on the Homepage.
There are considerations that weigh into what's possible' like what information sits within each widget.
The resizing will work in the same way as what has been provided with the Cash in and out, and Chart of accounts watch list widget.

I second Patricia's comment about the inconvenience of the uploads.
Bills on Xero don't give you any way to search for content details of a particular bill, so we're required to type the relevant job number in the reference box, so that if we need to find materials purchased for a specific project, we can search by job number.
Having to manually update the reference box, the supplier not automatically populating, etc etc.
We're having to adjust 99% of the uploaded bill anyway, so it tends to be quicker to just do the whole thing ourselves.
Xero is becoming less and less user friendly by the day. Adverts on the hoe page, "new bill" button not a single click.
No way to just click one button for "new bill" after submitting a bill for approval, and having to navigate to the bills page again, or using the + sign. It's all very convoluted and "it will take time to get used to a different flow" is wildly unhelpful, condescending and borderline gaslighting when those "different flows" involve extra clicks or completely changing the way something gets done.
I shouldn't have to do 2 clicks to create a new Bill from the Bills overview.
