Hi everyone, thanks for your on-going involvement in the idea here.
We understand many of our customers are trading internationally. While we haven't been able to deliver a solution as yet, this is still high on our radar.
Right now, depending on the country selected when setting up organisations will have different field options - Sort code in UK, BSB code in AU and Routing number in US. This explains the differences some in the conversation have mentioned. I appreciate it's not a solution but for the time being any extra detail (IBAN or any other banking detail) for the contact could be added as a note to the contacts record that can be looked up before making payments.
For our UK customers that have set up international bill payments - Though not direct from Contacts you can edit and save international payment details for a supplier through the flow…

Can I add also - adding Batch Payment Banking Details in the updated contacts - you can add the 3 banking fields that are limited in NZ to 3 x 12 characters. In the old version of contacts, this was a hard limit of 12 characters per field. However, in this updated version, you keep on typing, and only when you tab to the next field does it inform you that you have exceeded 12 characters (in red).
Well Xero, just limit the input length like it was (which would be super helpful rather than counting the number of digits entered all the time.

Hi everyone, we’ve taken time to review the suggestion to include custom fields for both invoices and contacts, and recognise the value it'd bring in helping users capture more detailed information and avoid manual processes.
However, with other focuses drawing the teams attention such as multiple addresses this idea is not on our current development roadmap.
As we continue to plan future roadmaps, being highly supported this idea will continue to be considered, however we want to be open about it's current position with you all here. We appreciate you sharing your feedback and for your ongoing participation in the Xero community. Any changes to this status will be shared with everyone on this idea.
So, with the old Depreciation Schedule disappearing, the new Depreciation Schedule is our go-to report. However, there are some columns that I wish were selected by default that were present in the "old" report that contain the details we need. Because these are not the default, I am having to set these columns to be present in EVERY client that I manage (and then save as a Custom Report).
I would like to see these columns added by default:
Asset Number
Purchased (ie: Purchase Date)
Method
Rate
Closing Accum Dep
Also, do we really need the "Private Use Amount" column to appear by default? If the entity is a company or trust, this will normally be not applicable (as this is usually dealt with in NZ via FBT unless the company elects to use a Private Use Percentage), so it is normally only for Sole Traders or Partnerships.
What do others think?
