We have found this too. I feel Xero must already have a solution for this, if anyone is able to share?

This is critical. An earnings category for commission paid within a single pay period that attaches to the standard PAYG Withholding tables is a must for basic tax compliance. Manually calculating this to override Xero's calculation every week is time consuming and costly to our business. This is a basic payroll matter that should be addressed asap.

Also add an Earnings category for commission paid in a single pay period, which per the ATO must use the standard PAYG withholding tax tables.

Thanks for your involvement and sharing your interest in adding multiple email addresses for a client in Practice Manager with us here.
This idea has been reviewed by our product team however with other priorities right now we don't have immediate plans for developing this capability. If there's any movement or news we'll definitely share with you all, here.

Hi everyone, leading on from my last update we have now released improvements to eInvoicing for those in the UK! With the latest change you'll now find we've made it easier for you to opt-in to receive your Xero subscription bill via eInvoicing. You can now do this from your online invoice (My Bills page) instead of through the Billing contact page. Helping save you time and reduce manual data entry every month.😁
We understand there are other regions that'd still like to see this functionality developed and we'll shift back to submitted and share when there is news of moving this further afield.
We also wanted to address the recent comment of data sharing - We'd like to confirm that Xero do not share data with Peppol.com. We use the Peppol network and the subscription invoices are sent using our wholly owned provider, Tickstar.Lara Crowdey supported this idea ·

Hi community, we understand user roles and the permissions a user has across an organisation is important to many businesses. Right now, as some may have seen across other ideas I've updated - we have some research underway to help us better understand where and how we might best tackle the most predominant needs in roles.
To make sure we're getting a good scope across our products - we'd like to offer those interested in roles & permissions for payroll to join the research here. If you'd like to be a part of this, please fill in this short form here ✍️and our team will be in touch over the coming weeks. 🙂
Just to set the expectation, the research and discovery for this project is likely to take a few months. Once outcomes are formed from the research, I'll be able to return and share what the next steps…

Having payroll admin access should not automatically give a person the right to approve leave and have them automatically appear on the approver list for employees when requesting leave.

A standard P&L the client runs in their Xero Business File should not include dividends paid and income tax expense, nor should the client (or their Accountant) have to customise this for them. Surely this is an easy fix. You add a category that sits below the profit before tax. Come on Xero, this is basic stuff.
