    Being able to set up client groups for customers who don’t require statements would save so much time. This is definitely a must‑have feature.

    Hi Roger, thanks for the feedback on this idea. it’s clear that seeing the number of days overdue directly on the Send Statements screen would make it easier to prioritise follow-ups without interrupting your workflow.

    At the moment, the Date and Due Date of each outstanding invoice are already displayed on the Send Statement screen, but having the actual days overdue visible would give immediate context and help you act faster when sending statements.

    We have now move this idea to Gaining Support, which means it’s open for votes and comments. Hearing from the community will help our product teams understand how much value this visibility would add across different workflows.

    In addition to this, a notes section would be great too. You could display the date and first few words of the most recent note in the "Send Statements" section and if we need to see more, we can click on it to see all notes.

    II agree with Jon Shepherd's comment in 2023. It would be good to see a "statement last sent" date column in the "Send Statements" screen.

    The SMS option is a fantastic addition. However, it would be even more useful if SMS templates could be customised, along with a simpler way to locate and select the specific invoice you want to send via SMS.

    An even bigger improvement would be extending this functionality to statements.

    Ideally, from the Statements to Send list, users could simply tick the clients they wish to SMS, send the messages in bulk, and optionally set an automatic follow‑up reminder text if payment is not received.

    We're interested to understand the interest in being able to add multiple emails to a clients record, for the purposes of setting these up for different purposes.

    It would be great to hear more detailed feedback from our partners on the particular purposes you'd want to set up emails for and how this would help you through Xero's practice tools. Thanks!

    The current client email section in XPM is for Tax notice email addresses only. We have to add separate additional contacts for accounts email addresses or individuals that we don't send tax notices to.
    It would be good to be able to add an accounts email address which feeds across to the sales contact in Xero.

    Hi team, we appreciate your feedback and support on this idea.

    As you'll have noticed we've released our new unified client and staff experience that combines the experiences across Xero Practice Manager and Xero HQ.

    You'll find more filter and column options for the Client list.

    Though Client Partner and Client Manager aren't filters that can be added at present our product team are aware of the interest for this and will consider this enhancement as they continue to plan their roadmap. We will share any updates with you here.

    I am not sure why my comment has been combined with this Xero HQ comment.
    My request relates to Client Insights in XPM not Xero HQ.
    For us to consider using this feature we really need to be able to Search by client name and filter by Partner and Manager.

    Appreciate the interest and hearing the use you have in seeing integrated apps your clients have connected.

    As some will have received communication of some time back - we made the hard decision to retire Explorer in Xero HQ from 12 April, 2023.

    Right now, if you'd like to see the apps a client has connected you can open the Xero organisation, go to settings and select Connected apps.

    While this is something we may consider developing elsewhere in Xero HQ down the road, it isn't in the teams plans right now. We'll continue to track interest here, and let you know if there is any change surrounding this to share. Thanks

    Interesting idea - we'll continue tracking interest here. 🙂 In the meantime I did want to highlight how you can send multiple statements at once and may help some here. 

    While it's not possible to set a default for each contact, you can currently send statements to multiple users at once - 

    From your Contact lists either select all, or just the contacts you'd like, select the 3 menu dots in the top right of the page where you'll see an option to 'Send statements'.

    • When clicked this will take you to the statements screen where you can further refine the lists of contacts you'd like to send a statement too

    Thank you for your reply. I have looked into your suggestion. However, this is not what we are after.

    An alternative solution in this area, would be to filter via groups (so it lists all contacts within the group) with the option to include or exclude a group when sending out multiple statements.

    Hi team, we appreciate the on-going support and feedback we're receiving on this idea and pleased to be able to share this update. Our product team are actively exploring how we can best solve for the needs raised here, although at this time are unable to provide any set timeframes.

    They are very much aware of the appetite from our community on this, and as part of their exploration have reached out some users here as they gather insights.

    For the time being we'll shift to In discovery and I'll return as soon as there is more on this to share.

    Be able to amend the default email from a Xero email address to our own when sending out tax notices so that they are less likely to go to our client's junk folder.
