Hi everyone, leading on from my last update we have now released improvements to eInvoicing for those in the UK! With the latest change you'll now find we've made it easier for you to opt-in to receive your Xero subscription bill via eInvoicing. You can now do this from your online invoice (My Bills page) instead of through the Billing contact page. Helping save you time and reduce manual data entry every month.😁
We understand there are other regions that'd still like to see this functionality developed and we'll shift back to submitted and share when there is news of moving this further afield.
We also wanted to address the recent comment of data sharing - We'd like to confirm that Xero do not share data with Peppol.com. We use the Peppol network and the subscription invoices are sent using our wholly owned provider, Tickstar.Nina Thomas supported this idea ·

Hey community, we want to acknowledge all the feedback you’ve provided on this idea. We know from your comments here and through other channels that taking deposits or partial payments on invoices is a crucial part of the workflow for many businesses, whether it's to cover initial costs or to confirm a new project.
In terms of current options, within Xero there is the ability to create prepayments. Alternatively there are some third-party apps that serve these needs, too.
However, we do want to share that our product team is actively working on a solution that'll allow you to request and accept deposit payments.
While we can't give specifics on a timeline as yet, please know that this is a priority for us. We're grateful for the detailed feedback you've provided so far, which has been invaluable in getting us to this point.
We’ll be sure to keep you updated…

Thanks for your feedback, everyone. We really appreciate you sharing your thoughts and the needs you've expressed about how auto linking recurring invoices to projects would save time, and give you more insights into project profitability.
The primary way to link repeating invoice line items to a project is to manually assign them to the project once the invoice has been generated, though we know you're looking for ways to streamline this process.
We've carefully reviewed all your comments and the strong desire for this functionality, however after much consideration, we've decided that we won't be developing the ability to assign repeating invoices to projects in the foreseeable future.
We understand this news might be disappointing, especially for those who've been vocal about this need for some time. Decisions like these are always tough. We have to balance a wide range of requests and development priorities across all aspects of…

Critical for me - who must use reminders in order to allocate recurring invoices to projects and always be insecure if all is accounted for. Quickbooks is able to do this for the past 5 years, how can we be so behind?

Hi community, some time passed since our last update in the thread here we do want to return and share - while our product teams explored possibilities for how we might represent Purchase Orders in Projects research has confirmed that there is underlying work needed to the platform Purchase Orders are built on before we can achieve any good outcomes of your needs here.
We have enthusiasm and a close eye remaining on the support for this, but want to be honest that this is not something that we’ll be able to focus our attentions on in the near future.
Once we have completed work first needed in the Purchase Orders space we can reassess how to integrate purchase Orders into Projects and will update you all of steps forward, here.Nina Thomas supported this idea ·
Important - stupid Dext thing creates duplicate contacts. After merge the name moves to archive. Please can I delete these forever and have in archive only the customers we truthfully stoped collaborating with - which is 12, not 176.
